We had a large group of people come in and all ordered various items, and everyone loved their dishes. I ordered the Tostada Stacker and oh was it a shocker! So many layers of meat, sauces, crispiness and fresh tomatoes and herbs. I'm shocked that no one else posted a picture of the stacker - get it! Will definitely be coming back here next time we are in the area. Highly recommend this place!
First time eating experience while visiting sooke. Clean, independent and spacious for small groups. Best part was location as you could eat outside in patio, or grab it to go and go down to the beach and eat there too. Food was good, decent portion size and not too expensive on the wallet. Overall would give it a perfect 10 and if ever back in this area, wil be coming back to this location Vegetarian options: Vegetarian Burritos, Tacos, quesadilla, Nachos Parking: Has a common parking lot shared with other businesses, but enough space for parking
A delicious Mexican restaurant in a place you wouldn't expect one. Our meal was fantastic and our table near the kitchen gave us a good view of all the yummy looking dishes being prepared.
Wow! An amazing burrito. Freshly made, huge, and full of flavour. The staff were so kind and friendly you can tell this is a family run business. This is a must stop for anyone travelling through Sooke. We were in Sooke celebrating our 30th Anniversary and wanted to try their deep fried ice cream. They were all out, but wanted to do something special for us, so they treated us to some churros with a Happy Anniversary" written in caramel! Even after all that, the waitress still went out of her way to take a photo of us overlooking the ocean. 6 Stars.
The carnitas were yummy! The only thing I would add is a couple of slices of lime to squeeze over the top. Soft corn tortilla, lettuce, pork, diced onion, salsa verde, lime crema & queso fresco. The outdoor patio has beautiful views of the water & East Sooke.
The food was great and the staff was very accommodating. It wasn't very busy so they were easily able to seat our group of 10 + 2 dogs out on the patio. I was happy to find that they had vegan cheese as an option to sub into my burrito, and the meal went great with a side of salsa verde.
Largest burritos on the island, indeed; I could barely finish mine! I got the Vegetarian burrito and it was so filling & SO GOOD! I would love it if this place can introduce 1 or 2 more vegetarian options, but I also respect that they're trying to stick to the basics instead of offering 20 different kinds. The ingredients are fresh, the seasoning is well done, and they have also have a nice little patio area that you can enjoy your meal on. Overall, I would definitely recommend you try out this place if you're in the area!!
Awesome food a short walk from our hotel! We ordered the burrito, tacos, enchiladas, and kids quesadillas! All were very tasty and the service was very fast.
We enjoyed our lunch. I had camerone shrimp tacos and they really hit the spot. The salsa that came with the nachos was fresh and delicious. My son had the crunchy beef taco and he ate it, so that was a win. My wife had verde chicken enchiladas and they were OK, lots of chicken. The taquitos were too large to be a starter and very tasty. Our server was busy but she did the best she could.
Food was delicious and quick to the table! The margaritas were wonderful and the staff were fantastic!!! I had the enchiladas verde and it was wonderful!
