Fikvi was amazing hands down. Went above and beyond making our first experience here a nice a remember one. The food is absolutely fantastic. I definitely recommend that you come here and try it out.
It’s a dinner place for me. Once or twice a week I visit to eat either Lazeez on the Rocks or Half chicken& Half rice. Both the dishes are delicious and pocket friendly. Halal chicken, quantity and quality both goes hand in hand & completely hygienic.
I don’t usually give reviews but My 5 year old asked me to leave a one star!!!! THE WORST FALAFEL plate ever! See pictures of what is advertised vs what we got! Falafel had a very bad Taste and smell we could not eat it which was smothered in a white “garlic” sauce that had a smell of mayo! Did not get hummus but then why bother we ended up eating the salad and fries - spent $20…going to eat somewhere else now. None of the ingredients are of middle eastern flavours. Lord, it was so bad.
This was an unexpected amazing experience. The food is exactly how you would want it to be, just perfect. Big fan of the Chicken Shawarma and the wrap and the list goes on. Their spice level customization is pretty awesome, you might want to switch it up occasionally especially when every level from medium and above increases the spice in a good amount. And if you love the garlic flavor then their garlic sauce is a must add as it takes it to a whole new level. When it comes to Mediterranean food this place is a must try for everyone.
Lazeez Shawarma is our favorite shawarma place in the east end, Fikvi, and Baljot are always very friendly and helpful. The food though is the star, we get the shawarma platter and it never disappoints, such great flavors, and value its such a huge portion.Food: 5/5
Got the chicken half rice and half fries, drenched in sauce and was tasty, wait was a bit long even though there was only 1 customer ahead.
Amazing service! Fikri was the best, he is so nice. Will be coming back again for sure - best lazeez I’ve ever had!
Great service. Always fast. The server gave me meat right off the vertical rotisserie which made my meal such better. Fries are always done well. And spice level is as you would expect when choosing how hot to go. Parking: Never trouble finding parking as it's in a plaza lot.
The worst Shawarma I've ever had. Compared to other Shawarma places I've tried before: 1. Their rice is not long grain. It's cheap fat small grain. 2. The chicken was actually stored in a buffet hot container instead of live Shawarma. 3. The Chicken Shawarma doesn't come with salad, potatoes and hummus. A first for me. 4. I paid $15.81 and they only gave me buffet chicken with fat small grain rice. For the same price I usually get Chicken Shawarma with rice, salad, potatoes and hummus at other places with authentic live chicken grill Shawarma. I will never step foot at this place ever!
Just had a chicken shawarma wrap. I didn’t expect the large one to be really big. Hard to eat. Asked the girl over the counter to cut it into small chunks. To be honest o didn’t like the chicken texture and flavour. The wrap is very hard and feels like a roti. It doesn’t have the taste and hard to chew the wrap. The staff were nice and helpful. Would’ve gave 0 for just the food.
