Do not hire! Run fast! No matter his client or not, no matter who you are he’s is only out for your money. He will prolong a divorce pre-trial and post decree as much as possible to Bill as much as possible. He’s extorting me to sign out my ex’s annuity and hand over to him.. to my expense and liability. With his best friend the Judge making it possible when all other laws prove wrong. All other attorneys know this and will tell you as well. Oh and he was my exes attorney, not even mine!

Looking for Resolution? Look elsewhere. With an office across from the courthouse, it is my personal experience that Mr. Jaquays finds it too convenient to litigate, instead of work toward settlement. My case has been in the Will County family court system for 8 years POST-Divorce!!
It is my opinion that this case has been kept in court due largely to his appetite for billable hours, fed by a contentious ex.
He doesn't stop there. Mr. Jaquays has also served motions on his own client (the ex) threatening to file liens pursuing payment for his considerable fees on two separate occasions. This tactic is effective, and a well-documented practice of this firm. So, be aware that should you not pay up as agreed, you may be litigated against by your own attorney.
For my family, his involvement in this case has significantly contributed to a recipe for disastrous financial fallout all-around. Of course, it's not all his fault, he's just following orders, one assumes. He is a capable professional (although I have questioned his choice in ties). But at some point there should be a logical, ethical end to pointless litigation. Not here.
There are more compassionate, ethical attorneys who can litigate as effectively, or better. (Although he has a reputation as a formidable litigator, we won our case against him.)
Bottom line: Part of the responsibility as an attorney is to advise clients when to call it a day. That won't happen with this attorney, unless/until you're completely out of money. I would urge you to consider these excellent attorneys, instead:
Mr. Paul Braun - Homewood; Mr. James Teich - Chicago; Ms. Carol Barry - Orland Park.
I would hate for what has happened with my case to happen to ANYONE else.
Respectfully submitted.
