Barton was amazing and I could not have had the positive outcome without his guidance. His team is prompt and great to work with. He even called while out of the country on vacation, which I feel shows he went above and beyond what someone might expect from their attorney. Experienced and cares! I would highly recommend Barton!
Barton was embarrassingly unprepared for trial. Failing to bring defense exhibits to court, failing to read expert witness reports prior to trial, failing to question state witnesses in any coherent effective manner, failing to prep defense witnesses, and failing to deliver a closing that made any sense. He did do a good job on a separate, unrelated circuit court appeal. Jury Trial: Deer in the headlights Technical Legal Argument to a Judge: Pretty good. I hired Barton despite poor reviews because he comes across as having his act together. Of being highly educated and prepared. Trust me, it's all talk. It's all show. When push comes to shove, when the rubber meets the road, he's frustratingly inept. Thanks for reading, you've been warned. - Mike Magnus

If you're looking for an attorney in his particular specialty, Barton is best at what he does. Check out his website for what he specializes in first, of course. My opinion of attorneys in general is not the highest. They are a cocky and arrogant bunch who are quick to take your retainer only to not return your phone calls after. However, talking to Barton and his team will instill confidence and let you take care of your business while they are working on getting you out of your troubles with the minimum harm to you. In my somewhat lengthy process and many questions there has not been once when he didn't return a phone call or email. He even answered his cell phone while on vacation spending time with family. At that point already, I knew he will be on my side and he didn't disappoint. Got me the deal I was hardly hoping for at a reasonable price. I wish for anyone not having to deal with criminal attorneys at all, but if have to - Barton Morris is the man!
