It was our first visit to this restaurant and we both loved it. I had steak/beef enchilada and my husband had chorizo tacos. We specially loved their spicy salsa and chips! Would definitely come back to try other dishes.
Authentic Mexican food. The tacos I ordered were very delicious. Very helpful, friendly ladies served my takeout order. If you’re looking for an authentic Mexican food experience, this is it. The music, the decor, Mexican soft drinks, Mexican beer, the staff speak in Spanish - it all has an authentic Mexican vibe. The lady told me their goal is to serve food just like you would find it in Mexico. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.
We are from Mexico and we were looking for a restaurant to eat some tacos. All the food is very delicious and you really feel the Mexican vibe. All the staff is very friendly. You have to try the "pastel de 3 leches"Food: 5/5
The freshest ingredients and most authentic you can get in the city. The restaurant is impeccably clean and the service is A+. I have many dietary restrictions, including no gluten and dairy, and I found many tasty options for me to eat! The rest of our party were raving about their taco and soup specials!
We went to Latinoamerica Unida on a weekday late lunch time and got seated right away. The workers all speak Spanish and English, so you can easily order in whichever language you feel most comfortable in. We didn’t get water, but we ordered some jarritos instead. The food came in about 15 minutes, there were also other customers in the restaurant. We got the Tacos de carnitas 3 for $14.99 and Enchiladas verde $16.99. They were both good and very flavourful, I didn’t like that the meat wasn’t tender though. That would probably be my only critique. The staff were kind. I noticed that the people beside us got sopas but it wasn’t on the menu, so we asked while we were paying. They said that they have specials on the board, we didn’t see it but next time we will definitely ask in advance because it looked so good! The prices were a bit high, but it’s a small business so I love supporting them.
This was genuinely the most authentic Latin place I have come across here in Canada so far. Amazing food, service and similar decor I find in my own mother's home. A++Food: 5/5
The best Mexican food in Waterloo! We have ordered from here many times and have never been disappointed! The dine in is even better, the margaritas are delicious!
We ordered 2 Enchiladas Rojas, 1 beef & 1 chicken. They were very blend and tasteless. The tacos are decent 3/10. Friendly service
Date of Visit: Sat Dec 17, 2022 A quick google map search of "Mexican restaurants in Cambridge" resulted in an option that we had never heard of before. LatinoAmerica Unida. We were surprised to learn that this place even existed. We are familiar with Cambridge - but apparently we weren't as familiar as we thought. What a pleasant discovery to find this little gem tucked away. just off the main streets. We got there just prior to them closing for the night, and oddly for a Christmas break. Lucky for us because this was a great find. We started with Guac & Chips and a beer. Then we had enchiladas with rice, and beans. The food was exactly what we were craving. Finding good authentic Mexican/latin food in Guelph Cambridge area has been a challenge. We wanted the good old fashioned quality comfort food and their place did NOT disappoint. The food is sensational, the atmosphere is very casual and like a family home. Everyone is welcome and treated just like family. The aroma was very inviting. While we were there we asked how long they had been there - because we had never heard of them - turns out they had been here for over 12 years. WHHHAT???
