I have always wanted to get rid of my glasses and contacts so I decided to book a consultation at LASIK MD. A lot of my good friends have had it done and say it was the best thing they’ve ever done. I don’t like surgeries but the whole LASIK staff made me feel comfortable and by explaining the process and side effects, I was ready to do it. I am very happy I did and highly recommend this daily life changing procedure! Thank you, Dr. Dorey, best eye surgeon out there!
From my first consultation to surgery, my experience with LASIK MD has been professional, courteous, kind, and caring by ALL STAFF. They really make you feel like you’re at home and you’re taken care of. Thank you Dr. Micheal Dorey & all of the professional staff for all of the work you guys do. You change people’s lives everyday! If your going to do lasik choose LASIK MD!
LASIK MD provided a really great experience. I was able to get a consultation and surgery date quickly, and they provided lots of information and were able to answer all questions. The day of the surgery went really well - the service is prompt, the team works like a well-oiled machine and put my at ease right away. They were very professional, but also kind and funny. The clinic is clean and comfortable. The surgery was quite simple and recovery went well, with lots of support from their eye care team. Definitely would recommend!
I just did my eye surgery a couple of days ago and I highly recommend LASIK MD Edmonton! The staff were so nice and was accommodating. The staff that really stand out the most was Velma. She went around the entire clinic asking all patients if they needed any water or anything. I asked her for a Tylenol since I was having a mild headache while waiting in the lounge area and she immediately asked her co-staff if that was allowed, and got my medication afterwards. Velma did my 2nd consultation and my follow-up check up the next day. She was very informative and was so thorough on answering all my questions. Dr. Kam did my surgery and he did amazingly and was re-assuring. for the entire surgery which lasted for only a couple of minutes. He briefly explained what he was doing during surgery which lasted for only a couple of minutes My least favourite was the waiting process, I was at the clinic for 6hrs. But I will still give this clinic 100% rating for their professionalism. Thank you so much Lasik MD for the amazing vision! P.S. The staff in the picture is Velma!
The staff were amazing. I have deep sockets and to get the scans are tough to get. The ladies that did my scans were amazing and friendly. My surgeon did a great job. He made sure I understood everything that was happening in the operating room, and made me feel very comfortable. The after care was explained to me very clear with easy to follow instructions. The sheet that they sent home with me made keeping the drop schedule easy as well. Thank you Lasik MD for the great experience.
Velma, Jesse, and their team at this location were fantastic. I felt taken care of the moment I walked in for the consultation. Eye surgery isn’t something to be taken lightly so expectation vs reality were important. Based on how comfortable I felt with the knowledge of the team, I decided to move forward with the procedure. Eye surgery isn’t something you want to compromise on due to cost or other factors. I’m glad I went forward with this clinic and the results speak for themselves, I now have better than 20/20 vision thanks to these guys. 5/5, would do it again if I had the same opportunity
Got mine done in 2017 and all is good. I gotta say the staff here is a kind lot. Great service, very understanding and yet professional. Definately recommend getting urs done here !
Beyond blessed to finally have my eyes fixed through LASIK. No more glasses. No more contacts! Big big thanks to LASIK MD for bringing my 20/20 vision back! Thank you so much to the entire LASIK MD team! All the staff were wonderful, super helpful, and treats you well. Special thanks to Velma Veloria who is very kind and made me feel I am well taken care of during my follow up appointment. She is very informative and helpful to all my questions and concerns. She is absolutely amazing! Overall, I am very pleased with my experience. I would highly recommend LASIK MD to whoever wants to get rid of their contacts & glasses!
I had such a positive experience getting lasik done downtown edmonton but wanted to wait a bit before posting a full review. It's been almost a year and my vision is still wonderful I just did my check up I was very nervous previous to my surgery and had never considered getting anything done to my eyes prior to being stuck in a mask for 2 years, but I have to say it was the best decision I've ever made. The clinic was clean, professional, and the process was explained so well that there are no surprises the day of. The recovery took a couple days but after 3 to 4 days I was able to see better then I ever have. 100% would recommend!
I had an amazing experience! My Ophthalmic Technician Velma Veloria was such a pleasure to plan and organize my entire surgery! I was booked in very quick and when I needed additional testing due to a previous eye condition she got me booked in swiftly! And even came to introduce herself the day of surgery. I would highly recommend!
