Great Filipino Food! It’s a locally owned business. People are nice and their adobo fried chicken sandwich is great! The halo-halo was definitely my favorite drink/dessert. Try it out to get a taste of Filipino cuisine.
Great unassuming place! It’s got a perfect amount of selection. The breakfast sandwich was too greasy but it WAS delicious. I’ve never liked loaded fries but the sisig fries changed my mind. It didn’t have goopy cheese like a lot of loaded fries have. Fries were still crispy and the pork was great. The lumpia sub was delicious but too big for me to eat like a sandwich. Very good though! There is no bathroom actually in the restaurant. But they have a shared bathroom with the building complex. It’s around the building. Just ask for directions. Will definitely be back to try the other sandwiches.
Great sandwich place with a Filipino twist. Will definitely be back to try all the other items. Family friendly - yes but this restaurant is not made for anyone bringing in a car seat. All chairs inside are stool. Pet friendly - kind of. There are two small table outside BUT the area is so tiny, its pretty much a sidewalk. Parking - yes, shared lot with other business in the area. FOOD: 1. Lumpia $6 - Crispy beef spring rolls: An order comes with 6 rolls that are cut in half. The inside is flavorful and the exterior is crispy and nicely golden. 2. Adobe Fried Chicken $12 Adobe marinated fried chicken, sili pipino, roasted jalapeno sauce, lettuce, brioche bun: I think my favorite out of the three sandwiches. The chicken is moist on the inside but crispy on the outside. I will say, this is the chicken sandwich you wish they serve at fast food places. 3. Lechon Kawali Roll $14 Crispy pork belly, sweet soy glaze, chili herb garnish, hoagie bun: The pork is amazing!! The skin is super crispy and has great flavor. The only disappointment is there is missing some kind of a sauce such as a spicy aioli. Without the sauce, the sandwich is dry even if the pork is amazing. 4. Fili-Bistek $12 not pictured Soy marinated grilled steak, onions, peppers, provolone cheese, hoagie bun: This was my least favorite of the three but not by much. All three sandwiches were great. The steak was juicy and the provolone cheese complimented the flavor well. RESTAURANT/LOCATION/INTERIOR: Small restaurant but clean. Lighting is a little dim which is a little odd for a restaurant. I like that the menu is small and they do it so well. STAFF: Meet a couple of the team working, cashier and wait staff. Everyone was friendly and well informed. You order and they will deliver the food to you.
Wow this place was delicious! I’m Filipina and I’ve been looking for a Filipino restaurant in the Seattle area for a while. Oh my gosh! Try this place. It was amazing!!!!! I really recommend getting the sisig fries and Lechon kawali roll. The sisig flavoring is so good and the Lechon is ultra crispy. Would def recommend and come back again! Only thing I wasn’t too crazy about was the Taho Milk Tea. Everything else was so great!
WOW! Flavor to the max! We just left the restaurant and our taste buds were pleasantly surprised. But first, the restaurant itself. The atmosphere was bright, the music had me dancing in my seat and the "hello, welcome to Lasa" with a smile was much appreciated as soon as we walked in the door. Too bad it's small as it's an inviting place to hang out and eat. But every business has to start somewhere right? Now for the food. The presentation, despite being simple, definitely got the laway saliva flowing. The first to hit our pallettes was the Sisig Fries. OH MY GUT Filipino accent intended! It was beyond our expectations. I would've been happy with just that. But of course, it being our first time, we had to order other things. One of which was the Lechón Kawali Sandwich. The bread was perfectly toasted, the veggies crunchy and the lechón crispy to perfection. And BIG. We also ordered the Shanghai Lumpia which was tasty as well. Now for the drinks. I ordered the Boracay and hubby ordered the Taho. Mine was definitely refreshing and something best served during summer weather. As for the Taho. It was ok. Kinda tasted more like Milo with Boba. Overall, two thumbs up. Gonna have to bring the kids next time, as we'll never hear the end of it once we tell them about the Sisig Fries.
We got multiple types of sandwiches, but I only really remember the bistec sandwich! Super delicious! Our halo halo was a little bit watered down, with not a lot of flavor. But, everyone was very welcoming and the interior was cozy and spacious !
Finally made it up to Lynnwood to try LASA! And it was WORTH it- totally lived up to the hype. We started with Lumpia Shanghai and Sisig Fries. Lumpia was hot, with tender, seasoned beef. Fries were perfectly toasty brown, with awesome flavor. The citrus onions were so unique, and the crispy pork belly was just…*drool*. So tender, I thought it was creamy sauce. We split a Lechon Kawali sandwich. Oh my GOODNESS. I assumed the pork belly would be similar to the sisig, but it was totally different. It had a dark bark, with moist, string-apart meat. Calling it a “sandwich” is laughable. It is a plate of lettuce and rich pork belly, with a bun on the side to absorb the juice and give some relief to the spice from the chilis. Approach with a fork and knife, and enjoy!!
We enjoyed our visit to LASA. my Fil Bistek sandwich the garlic and vinegar mixed in with the tender beef was perfect. The lumpia was very crispy with a lot of flavor. The bite sized portion made it easy to eat. Well Done Kitchen Crew. The Uber shake was also delicious. Parking: Lots of parking
Food is amazing! I had the lechon kawali roll maybe two weeks ago and I still think about it lol. Their sisig fries are also super good and refreshing with the fresh veggies.
Definitely worth the trip! I purchased the Lechon Kiwali Roll, the Sisig style fries and the Boracay Breeze for those new to calamansi, it can be a bit sour but I liked it a lot. Food was amazing, and the restaurant has a feel good vibe.Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes
