Nice, cozy place, quick and friendly service. Good strawberry margarita, camarones a la plancha and a combo plate of steak and enchilada. Excellent chips, salsa and guacamole. Our waitress was the only waitress there and took care of 6 tables and showed us attention at every moment. Gracias senora! Definitely will come back for dinner !!!!
First time ordering and two of our three orders looked this this. Absolutely disgusting. Rice has turmeric in it and canned beans as a side is not worth the wait or the money Pass next time.
Went here to dine in on a Saturday evening. The place was decently crowded and probably 70 ٪ filled. I had vegetarian fajitas and it was good. The wait time was incredibly long after ordering the food, it probably took around 20 mins for the food to arrive.
When you walk in and see the tortillas being made in house you know that will be great, and that's exactly how it is. From the in house made chips, with the delicious salsa, to the fresh off the oven tortillas, the guac, the cheese, everything is up to perfection. We had chicken and steak fajitas, shrimp fajitas, enchiladas and it tasted better than anything we had in a long while. The only thing I would suggest is to get the more premium tequila for margaritas because the cheap one tasted well...cheap. Last but not least the service was implacable, without awkward interruptions at the time when your mouth was full but there when needed. Bonus part is the trays that come with the fire to keep food warm for longer. Would come again for sure. Parking: Outside parking lot, pretty big but could get full on busy days
I have gone plenty of times. I always enjoy the food. We normally go with big groups7-15 and they are able to accommodate. I like the tacos and fajitas. I always ask for the corn tortillas.Food: 5/5
As a born-and-raised, Socal, first-gen, Mexican-American fat guy, trust me when I say, THIS IS MEXICAN FOOD! If that's not enough to convince you to eat here; the staff is amazing. Everyone moves with a purpose! We showed up on Cinco De Mayo and the parking lot was packed. I was expecting a 45 minute wait. We were sat before I could get a drink at their nice little bar. Chips and salsa were at our table when the server first arrived. We put in a drink order and asked if they had any spicier salsa. They brought out what I would describe as mole hot salsa. It was soooooo good, I bought a pint of it to take home. Caution, it's really spicy! All in all, it was an amazing time with a very nice, very fast staff with amazingly good and authentic food that made me want to head straight to the airport and catch the next flight to Puerto Vallarta. Highly recommend.
Taco Dinner - 3 Tacos, rice, beans - All great taste, tacos fully loaded not authentic style which to me is fine I like both type. Steak was really good, and great flavored rice. Recommend and fair price.
This place offers good Mexican food, it's in a great place and it's not expensive, 4 people ate for less than $100 with four drinks, not bad, food above average and service is good! Used to come here when it was mateos, and they had recipes I just wish Las Palmas had, but food is well prepared! Service keeps on top of your table needs, will come back again!
Never know what your going to get. Not sure if they can't keep a decent chef or what the problem is. Used to go quite often as it's walking distance from my home. We stopped going there like 3 or 4 yrs ago. Decided to give them another try last night. Huge Mistake! My Husband got steak tacos and I got the steak fajitas. Hubby said the tacos were just ok. My fajitas were horrible. I always kill the flame when it arrives at the table. The meat was burnt. Not just over cooked but burnt black. Very few peppers but was loaded with mushrooms and zucchini!? Think they used that to make it look full. They waitress was so very nice throughout. When she arrived with bill she informed us she removed the fajitas which we were happy about since I did not eat it. Never going back!
Food was good. Nothing special. Service was okay- they made mistakes with our food and had to recook two whole dinners after we all had been served. That was awkward. Drinks were not that good. Tasted okay but no booze in them. Expensive. $15 for a burrito dinner. Parking: They have a parking lot
