Absolutely a wonderful place to explore. Lots of hiking trails, some for bikes some just people. Trails can be a moderate challenge due to hilly terrain. Pictured is Fragrance lake in January, an alpine like lake about two miles mostly uphill but doable. Other lakes can be explored as well as coastline and forest.
Beautiful sandy beaches and rocks a short walk from parking. Parking lots and nearby parking require state Discover pass. Some free street parking farther out. Hiking paths can be muddy after rainfall and not all are suited for individuals with limited mobility. Gorgeous and fun on sunny days.
Great view saw some pretty sights far more people walking around than I remember when I was here as a kid. overall it's an amazing place to see and when you get back to your car you get the extra bonus of discovering your car was keyed...good times 5/5 would recommend the view 1/5 for the keyed car would not recommend
The trails were cleared from the recent storm and or walk was beautiful and refreshing. Almost everyone was wearing a mask. So thankful.
Need a beautiful break from the every day hustle? This is a breaktaking trail that includes a gorgeous hidden lake with a few waterfalls.. The path is clearly marked. The lush greenery, beautiful natural flowers and plants. Make it a must visit place. Enjoy!....
Such a fun park to explore. We came here to explore the trails and the park delivered in spades. So much to explore we will need extra trips.
Beautiful hike on a well taken care of trail. Even though it was very cold the trail held up well and the view of the lake was breathtaking.
What a beautiful place. It is super pretty in the fall with all the trees changing colors. It’s like you’re driving into a fairy tale. The shore is fairly small but if you want a serene place to relax this is it
