Great experience! Had lunch and it did not disappoint. Nice atmosphere, good amount of space including a nice patio and the food and wine were all great. Had the fois gras and trio of tartare. Would definitely recommend!

Huh... wow. Elevated menu? Checked! Impressive wine list? Checked! Good service? Yep. Got that too. We were there on a Thursday, and fortunately we had reservations. The menu has a lot of items to please a wide range of palates, with creative plates and a nice presentation. The portions are copious, with a wide array of veggies accompanying the proteins and starches. A particular attention was paid to the sauces paired with the plates. The service was efficient, checking in when appropriate; the restaurant was well staffed - a feat in a full employment economy! And... the bathrooms are clean!

My wife and I stopped at Montego for diner without reservation on February 10th. The very kind guy that welcomed us found a table even if the restaurant was full. Started with two excellent cocktails, Il Rosato and Côté Jardins last one was soooooo good!. We had a seafood plancha and a seafood risotto, both of them to share. Wonderful presentation, exquisite taste with nice mixed flavours. Very nice variety of wine by the glass. Ended two deserts. Those “donuts” were fresh, fluffy moist and tasteful. The three sauces were good at the most. The cannolis where very far from the original Italian ones….in fact the stuffing was good but the shells are made with the wrong dough/technique. Waitress Rachelle was super nice and effective. Total bill for two with 20% tip, 240$. Fair price considering the quality of the food, drinks, ambience and staff.

Went there for a group work related dinner of 12 people. The ambiance was very nice, the food less so for the price. One factor may have been that it was a fixed menu because of the size of the group. The service was just ok; they first set us up with only 10 settings, we then had to cram two more around the table. They took a long time to get our orders, failed to bring bread to the table until we asked for it a few times, served wine but forgot to give the taster a glass, and brought the wrong entree to one of our party. Not a disaster, but not great...

I am surprised about the high ratings. It is far from the worst restaurant you will experience, however just as well far from among the best. I have had lunch here on may occasions due to convenience of location during the business day. Variety of food including pasta, tartars, salads, appetizers, etc.... The service is hit or miss, mostly miss hence my 2 rating. They deserve a 2.5 however no half stars on Google reviews. Went there in the evening as well. Staff at that time also seemed disconnected. Disorganized 'coat check'. Waiter walking around not paying attention on several occasions needed to be reminded for water, taking orders, ask for check, etc...

A fantastic restaurant with delicious food and great service. This is my second visit to this restaurant and definitely a winner. The service is also great and very nice atmosphere. Highly recommend that people make a reservation as it gets very busy even during the week.

Honestly everything on the menu at this place is perfect. I’ve been a few times and I couldn’t pick a favorite dish. They have a great selection of wine! The staff is very professional and quick. One of the best restaurants in Quebec City by far. Nothing negative to say whatsoever.

Amazing restaurant, the service was great the place clean, the food amazing seriously amazing! It is very gourmet though so portions are somewhat smaller then usual but I still ate to my hunger! Pretty great!

We discovered this restaurant by chance, we liked it so much that we decided to visit again and celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food is amazing prepared with lots taste and artistic culinary presentation. The staff is friendly and the service is impeccable. They know how to treat their clients. Don't be surprised to get a small appetizer offered by the house or nice amaretto on the rocks or a dessert when finished dining. This people are generous and they know how to treat their clients. We will definitely come back again on our next visit to Quebec City.
