Perfect spot for exploring the idyllic town of Montague and surrounding areas. Too much to see and do in two weeks.nOur one bedroom cottage was spotless. Quiet, beautiful view of Montague harbour and trees. Compact kitchen facilities were more than adequate for preparing lunch and breakfast. Ate dinners at one of the numerous restaurants and pubs, many within walking distance. Great variety of food choices just 5 min walk from our cottage. Staff are excellent. Amelia helped us with an issue with our rental car before we even checked in. Problem with the AC in our cottage #5 was attended to by maintenance supervisor, Ron, within 5 minutes of reporting it to the office.nPrivacy is respected. Laundry is open to the public after Staff have completed their necessary loads for the complex.nThe hotel is also excellent. Stayed there on our last visit.nHighly recommended by us.
We just had a 10 day stay on the island, with stays in four different places. Our room at Lanes was so super clean. The lookout room was spectacular - a lovely balcony overlooking the river and we were lucky to have beautiful weather during our visit. The staff are welcoming, and there is lots to do in Montague! Make sure you book your stay here if you haven't yet!
The room was perfect. Extremely clean, had everything we needed, and the room had a balcony overlooking the water. 20 mins from the ferry. Breakfast was extremely basic toast, fruit, muffins, but in fairness, she told me this on the phone when I made the reservation and again at check-in. Would recommend if in the area.
Lanes is a great place to stay! We've stayed there a number of times over the years, and it keeps getting better. The rooms are immaculate, there is a modest continental breakfast which meets all of our needs, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Hospitality and a clean room with comfortable beds. What more can you ask for?
