A step back in time. I enjoyed my experience at this landmark location. Was there on a Tuesday afternoon when tickets are cheaper, that's a good time to go. Pretty much had the place to myself which is my preference. The screens are smaller than the newer theatres in the city but still great. The seats are the older style and don't recline which isn't a deal breaker but they are small and the rows are quite close together so not much left room.nStaff is friendly and welcoming. Went on a day that fell during free popcorn week. Purchase any size drink and get a free large popcorn with your extras account. Nice perk. So it was quite the affordable night out.
It’s an old theatre so don’t expect some amazing experience. Old style chairs, old style concession, old style lobby, old style quality movie presentation. However the staff was pretty friendly, popcorn was good for me, and I have really no issues with the bathrooms as it was clean and smelled fresh Men’s Bathroom. What really made this theatre experience shine for me was the warmth of the cinema. Always such a turnoff sitting in a cold theatre watching your movie. This theatre was warm and comfortable if you can handle sitting in a non reclining chair
A nice cinema with some friendly staff. Been here a few times and got a good selection of theatres. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Service is pretty good and there is ample parking available. Toilets are 7/10 and the theatres are clean and organised. Only thing I felt that needs improvement are the seats. I’ve been to only 3 theatres in about 10 I believe and none of the ones I went to had push-back seats or any d-boxes. Luxury and comfort levels is a little low and seats are of a lower quality but other than that the cinema is good and friendly. The audio systems are also pretty class! Good experience! :
Pretty good, but the theatres and screens seems small. Upside there is almost never anyone there during week days and the staff are friendly. Overall decent enough to not drive into Edmonton.
I honestly wasn't very impressed. I've only ever been to the Edmonton/St. Albert locations so unfortunately that set the standard of expectations of Landmarks for me.nnThis theatre does not have the modern seating that the newer locations have. They are smaller and far less comfortable. They do not recline like the newer ones do.nnI was the first one in the theatre this morning and the popcorn I bought was not hot at all. So it definitely was not freshly popped. Because I was in there early, It made me wonder if I was eating popcorn from the previous night. I knew it wasn't fresh cause it wasn't warm at all.
