Delicious cakes and treats! I am disappointed they discontinued they're Loyap rewards program it was a nice way to earn a slice! Nevertheless, Lana's is some of the best around! Their German Chocolate, Lemon, and Pineapple cakes are my favorites. All are moist and full of flavor. The cookies are good, too. I haven't tried the cheesecakes yet. As a bonus: support a local Black, woman-owned business!
I had 1 cupcake flavored cupcake and it was absolutely delicious. I should have ordered more!! I will definitely be back to snag a few more cupcakes.
Purchased a large slice of cake today but inside Bucharest Grill on Jefferson it was very tasty. Cake was very moist. The girls were very polite and it was a beautiful display. Also had several samples for tasting. Great marketing technique
SO GOOD!!! The single greatest white chocolate chip macadamia nut cookie I've ever had -- and I've had a lot since they're my favorite! Also an absolutely delicious strawberry cake -- you know those amazing strawberry shortcake ice cream bars? It's exactly like that but in cake form. To die for.
Went here looking for a lemon cake for my boyfriends birthday and although they didn’t have full cakes they had slices and baby those portions do not disappoint! I got 3 slices and it was almost half a small sized cake and plenty for us. The flavor was amazing and moist. I definitely will be back

I am sad to say but I am DONE with Lana's Bake Shop. I have ordered the German Chocolate Cake for family affairs - birthdays, Holidays and for a repast for a friend. I gave them a pass on the Caramel cake because it did not have caramel frosting it had a very thin caramel glaze. Ordered a cake for my sister's b'day gathering for Saturday only to arrive at Lana's to be told that they did not have an order from me. There wasn't even a German Chocolate cake in the glass cake plates where I could have at least purchased a couple of slices. This is one of her favorite cakes. I try very hard to support small local businesses but this is the "icing on the cake" for me. I got left scrambling for an alternative. And they want you to pay in advance??? I might also add that the level of service has also degraded over the years and the cake slices have increased in price but decreased in size.
Wow! This place is amazing, never disappointed. Very clean environment . Friendly, professional staff. The cakes reminds me of the cakes my Grandma use to make, three layers. Miss you Grandma.Thanks Lana for giving me that taste of home. Three layer lemon cake. Yummy!

We ordered one smash cake and a dozen cupcakes for our daughter’s first birthday. We supplied a picture of what we were looking for regarding the design of the cake and it was matched perfectly. Lana was pleasant and responsive. Tina, who was working the counter, was delightful and attentive. Our plan was to have the dozen ordered cupcakes match the cake and then we would pick out another dozen cupcakes from the assorted supply on hand. Everything went smoothly. The cake and cupcakes were ready on time and, as promised, there were plenty of cupcakes on hand to choose from. Let me tell you...these are no ordinary cupcakes. We received nothing but compliments from our guests. I use google reviews often and select many of my purchases/restaurants based on the opinions of other users. This is first time I’ve ever felt so compelled to actually write my own review. This is an easy, slam dunk for five stars.
