I utilized Lally Group for over 20 years, it was one of those business relationships that started out because my dad utilized them and grew because of that relationship. They were great to work with until they created a problem they chose not to correct. I worked with Jon Nowinski, probably since he started in the late 90's. Lally Group, surprisingly neglected to file my taxes for a tax year recently. In my conversations with Jon to rectify the situation, he noted to me that my taxes "slipped through the cracks" and didn't get filed. I incurred significant IRS penalties. Jon continued to justify and explain to me how Lally Group was not responsible for the oversight. Other than finally properly submitting my taxes, Jon and Lally Group refused to assist in covering any of the penalties I incurred because of their oversight. I make a comparison to an insurance company - you don't know how good your insurance company is until you have a claim. I didn't realize how bad Lally Group was, until I had a problem.
Lally Group is a great place to work and learn with a wealth of knowledge about audit, tax, assurance services and outsourced CFO services! Happy to be a part of the team!
