Love this place. I lived in the UK for many years and have had some wonderful Indian food. We try to get back to Lal Kella every time we’re in town. Beef josh is my go-to menu item, and nan is always super fresh. Bring your own wine/beer
Wonderful place, the food is okay. I tried only one time. The waitresses are polite. Losing two stars because of the boss of Lal Kella Tandoor red banana oven. He is very uncooperative person. I was there with my two months old son. He could understand my circumstance.
Very average fare. Lacks flavor the naan, the samosas a little overdone, bitter chicken chicken lacks that grilled chicken flavor and lacks flavor in general. Their green sauce isnt spicy as it is supposed to be and a bit watery. As well as the microwave goes off way too often for my liking meaning there's more reheating going on that cooking. Otherwise nice atmosphere, not many people dining in.
Normally I love this place... I am so disappointed I won’t be back again. I arrived and when usher to my seat all I got was a hand gesture and a vague point in the direction of the table. I waited 16 mins for a menu and once The appetizers arrived watered down and tasteless sauce and were eaten and then we sat there with dirty dishes for 45 mins. The main dishes arrived and the appetizer plates were still sitting there. No one ever came to check on us, no one validated we were okay. So disappointed I won’t ever be back.
I ate the food and thought I had Covid because the food was tasteless. Did an antigene test and God am happy I was negative but disappointed that they forgot one of the main ingredients in Indian food which is spices. The only thing that actually had taste was the Biryani.
Fantastic service : everyone is nice, food is served in a timely manner, but the taste of my butter chicken was not good at all !
Very pleased with this place we been ordering home since the pandemic and the food is always on point today we went to dine in and we are very happy with the atmosphere and the service, she was so excited to serve us knew that menu inside and out they were very accommodating and as usual food was delicious and even took some for next time.
Food is great, service is great. I've been going here for years and have never been disappointed. Prices are quite reasonable. They're is no hesitation for me to go back or to refer other people to go. Definitely worth the detour for authentic Indian cuisine! 5 stars every time!
Excellent service, very good taste and plaisen place. The combo for 3 was huge ,the food was delicious with fragrant spices I will come back.
Our first visit and it certainly won't be our last! We ordered the Meal For 4 for take-out. A tremendous variety of dishes served in large containers. Delicious! Looking forward to today's left-overs! Less than $25 per person. :
