We were hesitant to dine here because of the previous reviews but as another user stated, we also don't know why the ratings aren't a bit higher. The staff was very friendly and our orders came out quickly. Fries were crispy, BLT sandwich was good and the bacon was hot, and the burger was surprisingly good too! Went well with the poutine that wasn't soggy at all like some are. True rating would be a 3.5 as it wasn't out of this world, but for grabbing a nice casual bite overlooking the water, it was satisfactory. It seemed to be very popular for breakfast as well.
Just few minutes walk from Harrison Hot Spring Resort. It was the closest option that was serving lunch on a Friday. Food was ok if you just want to get something to eat.
I don’t understand why this place isn’t rated that well. I got the veggie breakfast burrito which I thought tasted fantastic, and it came with chips and salsa that I didn’t expect. Others with me got the chicken tenders and fries and they were as expected but still very good. The fries I enjoyed a lot in particular. The coffee wasn’t bad, nothing world astounding but it did a good job and is refillable so I don’t see a downside there at all. I’d definitely come back!
We stopped for breakfast. Some menus items were steep in price but the food was really good. Construction noise from next door was a bit bothersome but is only temporary. Staff and service was pretty quick for how busy the restaurant was at the time of visit. Outdoor patio has great views!
Fantastic little diner! The wait staff was extremely kind, food and drink arrived super quick! Great place for a delicious classic breakfast! Try the French Toast Platter or Pancake Platter for a bit of everything!Food: 5/5
Keep walking! Do NOT open that door, you will regret it! We went for breakfast here and each had a “hangover breakfast,” as it’s listed on the menu, hoping that it would keep us full all day. It did keep us from eating for the rest of the day but not for a good reason, totally ruined our appetite. All the ingredients used were extremely poor quality. Egg yolks were very pale yellow, sausages were white inside and mushy, bacon was just strips of crispy, cold fat. I thought the “ham” was Bologna or something similar to spam. The hashbrowns were soggy, greasy shreds of grossness. Also, they serve the breakfasts with green salad, which is something I’ve never seen before, would be nice if they put it on a different plate instead of underneath the hashbrowns and sausage. The toast was ok and was the only thing I actually finished. $24 for toast and few bites of other garbage, never again!! I wish we read the reviews before going here!
Excellent Breakfast, polite staff working hard. Perfectly cooked eggs and chocolate chip pancakes that had my daughter craving more despite not being able to finish the huge portion on her plate.
My mother and I had gone to Harrison to spend the day there. We had gone here to eat brunch I had ordered eggs, bacon and toast, when I got my egg is was almost completely raw so I just ate the toast and bacon. I couldn’t finish the food made me feel terribly sick. we had to leave before we could even do anything else. My mother had ordered salad and chicken strips, the chicken strips were tiny and the salad was just lettuce with canned mushrooms on top. We couldn’t eat anything so we left and we’re definitely never going back again. I not recommend to anyone.
Had a great breakfast here, reasonably priced for what I got, I think it was called the "hangover breakfast". Service is quick, staff are nice, food is basically comfort food. Diner vibes.Food: 4/5
Great place with a very nice view. Pretty clean and food was crunchy and fresh. The server is very friendly and polite. Great experience indeed.
