For being a small town you can’t be too picky about where you stay. This hotel is quite outdated, and in a bit of a sketchy area. They have plenty of cameras in the parking lots. The staff were very nice and helpful. Be careful with the elevator, it doesn’t seem to sense when somethings in the way of the door closing. Dog friendly, ok breakfast. Beds were clean but room overall could use a little deep cleaning. Good place to rest for a night, but don’t expect too much.
Just checked into Lakeview and was warmly welcomed by an outstanding customer service representative, Kaylee. She was incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to ensure I felt secure with my vehicle and belongings—including providing a room with a perfect view of my truck. The security measures are excellent, as she even knew the vehicle and license plate I arrived with, which added an extra level of reassurance. Exceptional service like this is truly refreshing and not something we often experience in Canada. A++! The room is clean, comfortable, and an ideal place to unwind after a long 1,000 km drive. Highly recommend!
Decent hotel. Get what you pay for. Id definitely recommend a suite. We had a king suite with jacuzzi and enjoyed it! Pretty clean other than the carpet.
The rooms were clean, great for one night and not overpriced. The gentleman at the reception with the cain was extremely helpful and kind. He showed us a couple rooms options before committing and was happy to do so. The blonde lady working with him on the other hand couldn’t have been any ruder. She made several insulting comments right in front of me. I hope she will look for a different job as she was clearly bothered by having guests show up. To top it off, my request for a wake up call was received by her but I never did get a wake up call… that could have also been the morning shifts fault but I wonder if she even passed it on. We didn’t do anything to upset the lady, she was just not kind or professional in any way. If not for her this would be a much better rating but someone like her should not work in the service industry.
Wasn't the cleanest place and the breakfast was marginal at best. The staff were very kind and the beds were amazing.
