It was a perfect snowmobile weekend get away for our family. The accommodations were perfect. The owners literally thought of everything! The kitchen, bedrooms and bathtooms had all the comforts of home and then some. The owner even thought of mood light for the kids bedrooms! Honestly there couldn't be a better location to the trails and lake. Martin's store across the street supplied us with breakfast, snacks and drinks. Able to get to restaurants in both directions really easily. We were also able to rent their 2 up sled so my husband could take our 2 boys and I could ride my husband's lol he didn't trust me with the kids. There equipment was in excellent condition! I can see this being our annual February vacation get away!
Lakeside Lodge in Sinclair, Maine is an idyllic and serene vacation spot, perfect for those looking to unwind and enjoy the great outdoors. My wife Susan and I had the pleasure of staying at Lakeside Lodge and renting snowmobiles from the proprietors, Jason and Taffy. It was an unforgettable experience! The lodge is situated in a picturesque location on the edge of Sinclair Lake, offering breathtaking views and the perfect backdrop for year round outdoor activities. We were able to explore and sled the Northern Maine Trail System all the way out the Allagash, and we had an absolute blast doing so. The area is truly stunning, with miles of pristine wilderness to explore and BRAAAP! through. Martins General Store right across the street, with fuel and everything else you need. The rooms at Lakeside Lodge are cozy and well-appointed, providing all the comforts of home. We appreciated the cleanliness and attention to detail, as well as the modern amenities, such as well-equipped kitchens and comfortable beds. And that great high-pressure shower head. Perfect! The lodge also boasts a private beach area, a dock for boat access, and a fire pit for evening campfires, making it an ideal spot for family get-togethers or romantic retreats. But what really sets Lakeside Lodge apart is the hospitality and kindness of its owners, Jason and Taffy. They truly go above and beyond to make sure their guests are comfortable and happy. They provided us with exceptional service and were always available to answer questions or offer suggestions for things to do in the area. We felt like part of the family! Jason even cleared off our rental car from the previous night's snowstorm. In short, Lakeside Lodge in Sinclair, Maine is a hidden gem that we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. The location, accommodations, and hospitality provided by Taffy and Jason were exceptional, and we cannot wait to return. Thank you both for providing us with an unforgettable experience at the Lakeside Lodge!
Most hospitable hosts in the County! Warm welcome with conversation around the lakeside firepit. Highlight of our stay was the ATV tour to Fort Kent on the superb trails. Jason & Taffy are great tour guides in the wild Maine woods. We will be back!Rooms: 5/5
Beautiful area, great spot on the lake, peaceful, and very nice hosts. Jason & Taffy are very accommodating and take great care of their guests. Our family 4-day ATV trip was well worth the drive. Trails are right across the road and although we cooked in most nights, several restaurants are a short drive away. Would definitely stay here again!
The welcomeing was very warm. All the rooms are very spacious.very peaceful atmosphere. Seeing nature all around us was so rewarding. And a beautiful place to relax on the shore of beautiful long lake. We could sometimes see eagles flying overhead. And there was a family of ducklings that would visit every morning and evening . We were only 15 minutes from St Agatha, 30 minutes from Fort Kent and Madawaska. There is fine dining all around us from 10 minutes away to 30 minutes away. That is where I'll be staying always when I visit the valley in the summer.the fairwell was also great.I would highly recommend a stay there to anyone visiting the valley.
We didn't stay at the lodge, but we rented a side x side. Great experience , atv trails are minutes away from this lodge. The owners were very helpful, renting atv, sidex side or snowmobile. Great location to unwind after riding on the trails. Can't wait to come back again.Location: 5/5
Amazing hospitality. Great tour guides. Comfortable beds, gorgeous views. Coffee on the deck while watching the otters and ducks. Definitely a home away from home. And the delicious smell of cashmere woods. Can't wait to go back!
Great place to stay, snowmobile trail is right across the street along with Martin's general store with gas. We stayed in room 5 which had all the amenities including a dishwasher. Owners on the premises very nice people who have done a lot of work to this building looking forward to staying there again.
