Lakeside Campground

I was profiled by the owner of the campground because she thought I was under 18 I’m 20. I showed her my military CAC/ID she took it and called it fake. I said that it’s real and other veterans were telling her it’s real. After her refusing to give it back The police had to come and tell her the same thing. She threatened to Evict us i I were to correct her again. I tell all my soldiers not to go there at all. Not veteran/military friendly!!!! Oh did I tell you she makes sarcastic comments to me and my family. I only go there because it’s closer to camp Garfield the my house!!!

First year camping here so far I'm completely happy here and plan on staying. Good people that own it and good people that camp here. Playground: Huge playground

I was going to buy a camper..met the owner and changed my mind..I can see alot of problems down the road and have heard to many bad things about the place.. no thanks

Hasn’t been the same since I say early 90’s when my uncle Dave was the manager and my uncle John was one of the live in maintenance men there. Went back and tried to camp there and was to restrictive and just lady in store up front was very rude.

Great campground. All around great people.

Don't Invest in this.place it's a Horrible Nightmare the owners are drunks Diane & Barney rubble they conspire to take your camp once they approve you to join their Satanic Cult we're they backstab and talk about you and conspire to take all your possesions.you will always be an outsider and not invited to be the drunks and the Swing thing. based on Rumors and tell tale make it up as you go along Liars Shemeing neighbor Harold and his cAunty B lived there 20 yrs. Scamed Many People out of ALL of their Belongings. Splitting the Profits to their benefits. $20.000 it cost Me to learn this in less than 5 months FACTSDo NOT GO there!!Horrible Place. Nasty People and Money Racket..

Lakeside is my preferred "home" away from home! I've been seasonal for two years, and I wouldn't leave for anything! Willingly at least! Some of the greatest people I have ever met!!!!!

We went to look at a camper for my mother. We were directed to the camper and went the way we were shown. We never told to not go that way. There is a sign that apparently means no cars. BUT ITS THE SIZE OF A GIRL SCOUT COOKIE BOX AND ITS 6 FEET IN THE AIR. Needless to say, we never saw the sign. So. We went over the camper was nice, went to leave, find out the owner of the park came over and yelled at my sister about the way we came. They told her, we never saw a sign and the lady from the office pointed this way, so we thought we could come through here. Apparently they were rude and didn’t want to hear anything. So we go to leave. The woman from the office walks out and stands in the middle of the road and blocks the way out. I stopped, rolled down the window and she starts going off on me about how I told her boss to come this way and I must be stupid because there is a sign that states no cars come this way, also there was a f*** you and all kinds of words like that thrown at me. I tried to explain to her that her and the owners of the camper we were looking at were the only people we talked to, unless they talked to my sister. But I got her in trouble because I was stupid. Needless to say my mother will not buying the camper or ever stepping foot in the park again because that was completely uncalled for and completely unprofessional. Apparently they are also drunks who don’t really care about you unless it benefits them.

This campground is one of the worst I have ever been too. The owner and husband are drunks and never enforce rules unless it benefits them. They let campers let their dogs roam freely and intimidate other campers and put other dogs at risk. Diane doesn't give you a contract but tries to confiscate your belongings. Truly an unsafe, unregulated campground. As before mentioned never enforces the rules unless she can try to steal your property. The campground has so many lots with tons of trash and campers that should be condemned. But rather than get rid of the trash and campers that are abandoned she chooses to just keep charging for the lot without any desire to improve campground. Her partners should put a stop to this but as of yet have not. A total NO STAR and complete trash campground. STAY AWAY!!!!

Visited friends. Very nice. A few too many people. Needs a cleared smooth path to boat docks.
