The Lakeshore Grounds Interpretive Centre is a cultural space for the natural and built history of the Lakeshore Grounds region in south Etobicoke.

Story

The Lakeshore Grounds Interpretive Centre is located inside Humber College's Student Welcome and Resource Centre at the Lakeshore Campus. This public space interprets the natural and built heritage of the Lakeshore Grounds. Our first exhibit on the history of the Lakeshore Psychiatric Hospital launches in January 2017.

Ultimately, the interpretative centre is small to the point of ambivalence. My rating is thanks to the Aboriginal and movie shoot display cases at the entrance, which regularly rotate, and for the local artist exhibits and building artifacts on the third floor. A visit is best coupled with other things on the Grounds.
