Love this church. People are kind and welcoming. The music is fun and uplifting and the messages walk though the week with me. Pastor Josh makes the sermons fun and relatable. What more could one ask for in a church?
Love Pastor Josh & everyone associated with the church! Love the new indoor playground too!!
Sermon was about worshipping god regardless of what others think There is a indoor play place for kids they intend to keep open year round They told me music would be loud.. that is correct Friendly everyone seems interested in spiritual growth
This is seriously the most welcoming and fun church I have ever been to! Pastor Josh and his wife Lisa are just such warm, inviting, down to earth people. He relates his sermons to modern, every day life! All of the staff/volunteers are great too!
Great church experience! We moved to the area and I made a list of 4 churches to attend. Lakeland was the first and we never went to the others. The worship is amazing - I am moved me to tears every week. Real spiritual growth happens here.
Wonderful church! If you haven't found a church home in the Walworth County area, you should visit Lakeland. You will hear a Biblically based message, awesome worship music, and if you have kids they have a wonderful kids ministry. The people are so friendly and welcoming. You need to plan to visit soon! Sunday services are 9:00 and 10:45.
Lakeland has been home for the last 4 years. I can feel the presence of God every Sunday morning in the auditorium during worship. The pastors and leaders at Lakeland have been loving mentors, and God had provided a lot of healing through the work of their hands. I would come here with an open mind. Seek and you will find!
A loving congregation that shares and teaches the word of God in spirit and in truth. Great programs for our children and youth. Congregation that looks out for you and wants to connect with you right away to keep you encouraged and into biblical teachings. And growing in a relationship with Christ.
This Church is not LGBTQ friendly by a long shot. They are not all inclusive. Come as you are but leave as we want you to be is what their sign should say. It’s extremely disturbing and quite sad to me that a Church this large and wealthy exsists so comfortably in our community. I feel much closer to God in my living room or backyard than in this ridiculous spectacle of a Church. It’s the opposite of what Jesus had in mind, in my opinion. Wish I could give them zero stars. Years later you want to “make it right?” Your Church pushed away our family and guided others to push us out of the Williams Bay community. Josh the pastor told his young daughter to preach to other kids about our daughter at school. That our child was unacceptable to God because she is transgender. He coached another family to tell their child to find new friends at school as our daughter wasn’t worthy because she was trans. All in the name of God? That can not be made “right.” It’s not McDonalds. You didn’t mess up our burger. You hurt children. You hurt not just our family, but completely blew a teachable moment for your so called Church. An opportunity to truly reflect Gods love and inclusivity. Your Church is not doing Gods work. It’s stroking your egos and is simply a big business. “What you do to the least of my brothers and sisters, you do to me” Trans people are such a marginalized minority. Especially in Walworth County. How hard is it to be kind and welcoming to a child? Gender dysphoria exists. It has since the beginning of time. Educate yourself! My daughter is an incredible human being! My son had many gifts to share as well. Either will never share their gifts with your narrow minded, uneducated institution. Do better!
The Park is amazing, a must visit if you're in the area with your littles
