Lakefield is a serene, sandy beach where we enjoyed a peaceful day. The kids had a great time, and we even took a boat ride and caught a fish—though we didn’t get a picture of it. There's also a decent play area for the little ones.
Great beach. The sand is so soft and clean.nThe water is so clear that you can see fish swimming around you!nnBeautiful surroundings with the marina just behind.nWashrooms are available on site.nnMy kids had so much fun playing in the water and floating around in their floaties.nThere is a little camping/RV park attached.nnMy advice would be to go as early as you can because the beach can get pretty busy by 11am.
Small but great beach with sand. There is also a playground and restroom.
Great for kids. Shallow and fairly clean water. Not much beach sand to play but we had lots of fun making clay and mud. Good place for swimming and camping. Kids have a play space including slides and swings.
The beach is so refreshing! Clean water much prefer this over Beavermead park swimming little kayak dock good for the kids to jump off. Restrooms are decent with flush toilets and works as a good place to change.nThe sand is really hard packed so we brought patio cushions to lie on over our blanket, but that hard sand also makes it wagon/stroller friendly.
