It wasn’t very crowded when we arrived, but that’s typical for a weekday I suppose. There was no kids menu, so unless you won the lottery, this is not a family friendly establishment. The last time we saw our waitress was when she took our orders. We had to go up to ask for the check, which I don’t think should be expected of the consumer! Overall, it was an alright experience. I wouldn’t preferably chosen this place again. It was a bit on the pricey side I mean, $16 for two tacos, which are honestly a bit small?. The view of the lake is wonderful though. A bit out of the way for us, but I don’t regret going. Pictured, the shrimp scampi and grilled chicken tacos
Nice location by the water with relaxing views. A guy was even fishing at the dock around 7:30 pm while we ate dinner. Portions were decent enough to take home. The calamari was fresh and tasty and went quick. The BamBam shrimp was also tasty with a flavorful sauce on top. My lemon pepper wings was a big disappointment in that it had no flavor whatsoever. Not like Buffalo Wild Wing’s lemon pepper where the flavor is infused throughout. The Mushroom Swiss burgers were juicy and tasty, but the fries came in lukewarm to cold. Don’t know much about the Fettuccini Bolognese pasta dish except it was huge. The waitresses were friendly and attentive. I’ll give LR&B another chance and order something else besides lemon pepper.
Food was good. The service started very good. At the end the server kind of forgot about us, but I think it was because they seemed to have a private event and they seemed short staffed. I would definitely eat here again.
Food is waaay overpriced. There are very few options for vegetarians here. The pineapple on my Pina Colada also didn't' look too fresh.
We had or work holiday party here. It was wonderful!!! Staff was amazing, food was great and so well decorated for them holidays. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp for wheelchair access.
I found this venue is extremely overpriced for what you're served, compared to other local restaurants, including a few that are nationally ranked. The waitstaff were excellent and there is a great selection of food. I just wish the quality of the food was commensurate with the price they charge. The view of the lake is excellent. Be forewarned, the restaurant expects you to seat yourself and use a QR code to review the menu and place your order using the Toast app. Luckily, for some reason, our delightful waitress served us in the normal manner. Unfortunately, my wife and I were quite disappointed in the food we were served. The fried shrimp plate consisted mostly of a huge bed of fries and only 8 shrimp. My wife ordered the chicken kabobs which she felt were overcooked, while the broccoli was undercooked. Our dining bill no dessert and only one drink came to $80. I know this is a popular local restaurant and the lake view is excellent, but I can't recommend this restaurant to anyone. The fact that they charge such high prices for mediocre food with a self-service environment is a bit much.
Definitely be in patio if the weather is correct, enjoy great lake view, good food and service, a bit pricey… stop by sundays to have some music too..
The menu system is Terrible.. the server tells you to scan the QR code to view the menu fairly standard post Covid but……then you order through an app. The server essentially ignores you. From this point on There is nobody to ask questions about the menu since the server wanders away after describing how to use the online system. I ordered the pulled pork taco’s. $24. The things should have been called a lettuce taco with hints of pulled pork. Photo below. I’m not one to complain typically but 2 tacos for $24 with very little pulled pork on them I thought I would mention it to the management. When I asked the hostess if I could speak to a manager she left to find him and returned empty handed…. Eventually I asked her if he was coming she said “I don’t know”. The owner eventually comes out but completely ignores me. So I go to him and say I’m pretty dissatisfied with my dinner…. He responds with “that’s nice”. I will never go back. Bad enough there is zero customer service as you order on an app and when the food is delivered the server has to ask each person who ordered each dish since she didn’t take the order, the food is very overpriced considering the McDonalds style service and is underwhelming to be polite. Lastly the owner literally doesn’t care if his patrons enjoyed the experience or not. I will never go back and given the opportunity I will discourage anyone I know from wasting their money here.
My wife and I had been here several times in the past, but this was the first time we had been in a few years. The menu was differentnot a bad thing, but the prices were much higher than they used to be. Since COVID, we don't mind spending a little more to support local businesses, be we felt the prices were a bit steep for what you actually get. Overall, the service and the view were great, but the food was Mediocre for the price.
