Nice county park with a good swimming area, though the beach is almost non-existent. Kids cannot bring toys into the water, which is the big downside. The playground is fairly large, and there is the band shell, which has concerts every Friday night during the summer. Boat rentals, concession stand, and volleyball courts, too.

This is a great county park. Diverse range of activities for kids and families. Held my daughter's birthday party here and everyone enjoyed it. Facilities are all very well kept.

Nice swimming area. Older/large/fun play structure, outdoor amphitheatre, covered and uncovered picnic and grill areas, sand volleyball court, and you can rent paddle boats. There's also a huge open grass area. Parking and access is a couple bucks if you are an Ingham county resident, but free if you have the all-access park pass.

Amazing place for gatherings or just relaxing. Water is pretty clear, Sandy and not full of seaweed. Beautiful view. No smoking of any kind, even vapor pens. So that's a little ridiculous. Also, no water toys are not allowed, no flotation devices besides life jackets. Beach toys are ok, but not really fun for little ones.

This was a great park for kids. We took them fishing off the dock for a bit, and there were tons of little panfish. The playground is great for kids off all sizes, and the concessions were convenient for a quick snack.
