We love Lake Iowa, low key and relaxing. Campgrounds are well kept. They have a wonderful panfish pond that the kids love to fish, it's easier to get to than the lake.
It was kind of late when I got there, but I had some time off from work so I went and walked around a little bit. I felt bad that I gave the cleaning lady a bit of a scare; when I knocked on the office window, to report a tree down.
Awesome campground! Nice open shower houses. Lots of pull-thru sites at $16 a night for electricity. Tent sites $10.
Many miles of well maintained mountain bike/walking trails. Nice campground with good views of lake. Good lake for kayaking. Well maintained clean shower houses. Also like the fact that it is first come first serve.
Went there to scope for upcoming camping trip. The camping area looks run down spots are to close together and I couldn't figure out the layout of the place. However the beach area does look nice
It was nice mostly just reason to get myself and dogs out of house.they loved it
Beautiful park. Easy trail around the pond. Several other trails. Disc golf. Lots of fishing spots.
Park is clean and we'll kept. Camp sites are spacious and fairly level. Plenty of shade, and a nice playground for the young ones.
