I took my wife in as soon as it opened on Friday May 1st, it was a seamless transmission from the front desk to the triage nurse and finally to the Doctor. All were very professional and very helpful and in this very limited space the quality was first class. I realize that at some times it may be very busy and this would affect the service and wait times but not today. An IV was placed due to her dehydration and each of the medications were explained in full by Dr.Moolman, an excellent example of a Emergency Physician. During the two plus hours there we had constant appearances by Nurses to see how my wife was doing and it was clear that these were caring professionals. Huge kudos to all of the staff for looking after my wife of 50 plus years.
Big thank you to the staff at Ladysmith Urgent Care! I came in needing stitches and was in and out in less than 3 hours. The nurses, doctor and woman at the front desk were all kind, helpful, and went out of their way to make sure I had what I needed and answer any questions. I was prepared for a much longer wait and a very different experience than the one I had here - so thank you to a team who very clearly cares about the work they do!
I've never had any issues with staff and it's a calm atmosphere.nUnfortunately it can take a while to get in because people come from everywhere because the waiting at Nanaimo or Duncan hospital can be a way longer wait.
The service was exceptional. I was quite surprised by the promptness and willingness to help. Great job to the nurses and doctors during my visit.
I went in June 13 for an injury to my ankle and foot the doctor provided me with a doctors note for work but no prescription for an air cast that is needed I called and was told I would have to come in again in order to get a prescription ….i will be going four days without this cast because incompetent staff did not provide me the proper tools so my injury can heal properly this is not how anyone should be treated I went to the hospital for a reason and now I have to go thru hoops to get something that is needed for and injury
