Was walking home from a friends house and had a few drinks. Was pulled over by a lacombe police officer didn’t catch his name! He was very kind, I gave him my license he checked it and all was of course good, he then out of his way offered to drive me to my house. Overall was a great interaction with the lacombe police!
Very dissatisfied with my experience. This past summer I got pulled over for registration on my car. Went in and got it reregesterd but now it has come back that I owe money for that ticket. Edit post rage clarity has made me realize my initial review was all over the place. I was stopped and given a ticket for my registration which was over its due date by some time. It is understandable that i got a ticket and im thankfull that my car was not towed. However where my frustration comes from is the officer told i would be able to see my ticket online so i pay for it. That was not the case so i assumed she had let me off with a warning. I was able to register my car the next day and no issues. When i went to register the following year it turned out i owed said ticket and more for late fees. Thats where my frustration is comimg from.
When Lacombe was smaller and under a different Chief it was such a nice run department, since moving into that new building under different command it has become one of the worst communities to live in with how they act and behave, borderline harassment. There is a lot of talk going around and its pretty scary to be honest. Guess I am the brave soul to bring it up as its something that needs to be talked about instead of everyone living in fear of the people who are supposed to protect us. I am not saying everything is bad but wow there are some really shady things happening. I know two families that literally moved to another community to get away from brutal treatment. Be better.
I had to contact the police about a non emergency issue around our property the lady that took the information was great an officer showed up quickly dealt with it and let us know what was going on. Thank you Lacombe Police for keeping us safe
Very unhelpful when you call, they definitely don’t go above and beyond to answer your questions and they don’t reply to emails.
I called to enquire about some details and the lady on the phone was very helpful and polite and I could tell by the sound of her voice that she really cared and that made me feel really comfortable. Kudos Lacombe Police
Treated like a criminal for going 30 in a parking lot, that was empty, they seem a little power hungry to me
I was very impressed at how professional and friendly the officers were in the office.
