I would not recommend putting your child in swimming lessons here. Every instructor has a different expectation of the children in their class. Despite my child showcasing the skills required on the “swim report” to pass which I witnessed as I attended every lesson the instructor failed my son, and every other child in the class. This to me demonstrates a lack of skill with teaching. When I approached the instructor and supervisor about my concern, I was told that it was up to the individual instructor and then I was made to wait an hour before I finally got an answer regarding whether my son’s last swimming lesson was taken into consideration on his swim report as they prepare the evaluations ahead of the last lesson. Needless to say I will not be registering my son in Swim for Life Lessons at the Kinsmen Aquatic Centre again.
This is a good venue, but so hot on a warm summer day in the Curling Club Lounge.
5* to facilitaten5* to the supervising life guard at the pool, for wibit, who always had a big smile on her face, even when having to respond to problems, she did so with a smile and made sure to make the kid feel good.
If your going to close make it known as people drive in from out of town to use your facility and gas isn't cheap. Life guard on duty was a rude human. Do better Lacombe!!!
This is a great pool to swim in and take lessons at. The instructors are amazing and you can tell they really care about their students and want them to succeed. I also really enjoy the kiddie pool & the hot tub.
