Small airport in almost-suburban Montreal, which I was hoping was going to replace Mascouche that was closed for an array of terrible reasons. This one is less busy, which is a nice relaxing thing. It lacks the full length taxiway, so you need to backtrack on the runway. The latter is however quite large, it seems wider than usual for this type of infrastructure.nnThey used to have Customs services there, which made it an international airport, technically. Not sure if that's still available now.
Very cool place. One of my first flights!
Needed to stop for fuel late at night. Fbo had been closed for a couple hours but fortunately an instructional night flight returned and the instructor was able to top us off so we could return to Ottawa. Will be back deliberately next time!
