I went in to see Dr. Kapi for a dental appointment a few weeks ago and I had a great experience. She took her time to explain what was being done and made sure I was comfortable at all times. The staff at the clinic were also very professional and friendly. Highly recommended for everyone in the Goose Bay area.
I went here for a tooth cleaning when I first moved to Goose bay. It was a great experience! Dr.Kapi is amazing - highly recommended! She makes a dental appointment more then tolerable… it was surprisingly enjoyable! Won’t be going anywhere else while I live in HVGB.
I had an appointment with another dental clinic by accident due to have been given the wrong number and arrived for my appointment only for the doors to be locked. So I showed up at the Labrador Dental Clinic because I've been here before and they're always great.They understood the situation, got my information and I'm now waiting to be seen. Incredibly great service, the staff here are very friendly and I would recommend this clinic to anyone looking to get dental work done.
Ive been to Lab dental many times over the last year and theyve helped me tremendously! Dr. Kapi is the best and kindest dentist i have had by far.l would reccomend this place to anyone.
Very professional and comforting during my extraction. I always had a fear of the dentist growing up not because of the pain but the whole aspect of it I had 1 tooth removed and another one fixed, now I don’t have anxiety while I’m at the dentist.
I was pleased with my treatment here. My previous dentist messed up a filling but Dr. Yalini is an excellent dentist, very gentle and to be honest she really cares about my comfort. It was a great visit!
I visited Dr. Yalini for a cleaning and a check-up, and my experience exceeded my expectations. I've had many dentists in the past mainly due to insurance changing and moving from Toronto to NL and also trying to find the best fit for me, and Dr. Yalini is among the best. My last cleaning was over a year ago, and my previous dentist's hygienist failed at cleaning my teeth thoroughly. As a result, my teeth continued to accumulate plaque and my surface stains only became worse. I now have moderate to severe gingivitis that I'll have to treat and remedy. Dr. Yalini didn't shame me for my gingivitis, which I really appreciated. Dr.Yalini examined my teeth for cavities none this time!!! and cleaned my teeth as well. I've never had a dentist act as her own dental hygienist, and I was a bit skeptical at first to be honest. However, she did just as great of a job as some of the best dental hygienists I've had in the past. I would definitely recommend Dr.Yalini Dental Clinic to anyone who is looking for a dentist in NL.
I went here because I couldn't find an emergency appointment anywhere in NL. First impression seemed great, everyone was friendly and assured me they could help. During the procedure is when I started to realize how inexperienced he was at what he was doing. I needed a filling on my front tooth as they were knocked out in an accident and I can't afford a cap at the moment. Anyways he accidentally ground into the tooth when he was doing finishing touches and never bothered to fix it, which I was willing to forgive as long as the tooth would hold till I can afford a permanent fix, my other two fillings lasted a year no problems and looked perfect. Then when he showed me the finished product...it was completely uneven and I could feel my bottom teeth were really pressing into the back which I didn't think was right so I let him know, he barely did anything and assured me it was okay. I kept asking him to make the tooth closer to the same length as my other tooth and he didn't. Anyways barely a month later and it's chipping away at the back where my bottom teeth have been resting and I'm about to lose it again. Tried to call to see what they may be able to do for me and someone picked up and hung up the phone. So I called back several times, sometimes it would ring through to the answering machine and others they would pick up the phone and hang it up. I could hear the phone physically being picked up and put down again. I can't explain how frustrating this whole experience is. Especially since I spent $900 to fly there to get this fixed I time to go back to my job where I work in the service industry.
It is a true pleasure to have the opportunity to recommend Dr. Yalini taking to any individual seeking this form of care. I can speak from my own experience of enduring years of discomfort, hundreds of times in the dental chair, thousands of dollars, and never obtaining a result in which I could eat comfortably and without pain. I was so afraid I was going to end up with dentures, and now I can honestly say I feel more normal and comfortable than I ever thought possible. I am very grateful to have met Dr. Yalini. Dr. Yalini has a caring nature and an uncanny ability to make patients feel comfortable in the dental atmosphere. I highly recommend her to anyone needing and wanting this quality of dental care in goosebay.
I had a painful wisdom tooth problem. Called in the morning and they managed to fit me for just a few hours later. Wisdom tooth very painlessly by my dentist and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful.
