Story

Lab T.O. Coworking is an affordable shared office for digital professionals, creatives and entrepreneurs in Toronto.

We provide members fast internet, ergonomic chairs, and limitless coffee and tea.

We also provide an environment where members can support each other, learn new skills, share contacts, and make new friends and business partners.

LOCATION: 231 Wallace Ave. Floor 2, Toronto

Lab T.O. is located in the Junction Triangle and easily accessible for anywhere in the city - and especially close to the Roncesvalles, Ossington, Bloor West and Annex neighbourhoods.

It is a short walk from major transit lines:
Lansdowne Subway Station
Bloor Street GO Station
The UP Express (which runs from Union Station to Pearson Airport)

If you bike, Lab T.O. is near the scenic Rail Path. And there is plenty of street parking if you drive.

THE SPACE
Lab T.O. is in a loft-style building featuring 11-foot ceilings, large windows, and skylights. It also features ergonomic leather office chairs and desks built at a local maker-space. We also have cubicles so that you can work quietly or make a phone call.

Anytime Access
Whether you rise with the birds or are a night owl, you can get access to the space when you need to work on your project. We have a Bluetooth entry system that uses your Android or iPhone to grant you entry.

OUR COMMUNITY
Lab T.O. is building a smart and creative community. This will make finding talent easy -- the next person you'll collaborate on an app could be sitting across from you.

OUR FEES
Monthly membership is $200, which includes 24 hr access to the space for professional/creative use. There are also day memberships for $20 and five days for $80.

With the increase in remote working and freelancing, co-working helps meet the needs of workers in the digital economy.

Mission

Especially since the recession, there’s been a lot of pressure for workplaces to cut costs. A lot of companies have resorted to freelancers and contract employees as an alternative to full-time office workers. At the same time, most of us digital workers can do our jobs with just a laptop and a smartphone, making it easier than ever for people to work remotely.

And while working in bed wearing pajamas might sound like a dream, it can be a mixed blessing.

The premise of Lab T.O. is that if we can bring together smart and passionate people from different disciplines, we could share ideas, learn skills, share contacts, and make new friends and business partners. This could let us keep the freedom of working for ourselves but also give us the social benefits of a traditional office... without having to tiptoe around the boss.
