I’m so happy I found this place! My boyfriend and I each got a sandwich, meatballs, rice balls & fresh mozz. Everything was beyond amazing and so fresh. The girl behind the counter was super helpful giving recommendations & everyone was so friendly! We will definitely be back!

Seriously stop reading this review drive here right now and order something. I drive all over the tri-state looking for the best sandwiches while working and without a doubt this takes the crown for Jersey I cannot wait come back to Sparta and eat my way through this menu. The fresh made mozzarella is spectacular the meat is perfect and the pesto has just the right amount of Tang for this Italiano sandwich I would give it 6 stars on Google if I could

Some of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! They even make their own bread. Delicious high quality ingredients. Porchetta and Americano sandwiches were amazing and so flavorful. Fresh homemade pasta and mozzarella too. Friendly service to boot. A real winner!

There are not enough stars in the sky to convey my love for La Vita in Sparta, NJ. A friend recently recommended La Vita after overhearing my complaints about the lack of delicious sandwiches options in Sussex County, NJ. Not only do they make an incredible sandwich, all of their food is fresh and fantastic. Highly recommend the Broccoli Rabe Panini and the Porchetta Sandwich. Their selection of freshly-baked breads real sourdough and focaccia!, fresh cheeses and other prepared foods make them our new #1 stop for foodie cravings. There is no comparison in for miles and miles. If you're a foodie and have been starving in Sussex County, run don't walk to La Vita!!

Excellent little Italian specialty shop. I ordered the Italiano sandwich and it was delicious.  Definitely plan on visiting again!

This place is a gem! Everything we tried was superb, from the flavorful caponata to the savory and complex porchetta sandwich. These are dishes that taste both elevated and rustic at the same time, and my only complaint is that it's not a bona fide sit-down restaurant. But, we'll take it as it is any day! We're working our way through and can't wait to try every single item on the menu. Thank you for existing!

For a true Italian delicatessen, you won’t find any more authentic.  The sandwiches, if you’re looking for Italian meats and cheeses, is the only offering in the area.  I have yet to find any classic Italian delis other than this place.  And the meatballs?  Madone they are incredible.  I used to pride myself on my meatballs, now I feel like I’ve been wrong my whole life.  Get a sandwich for now, order a meatball for later.  The focaccia looks ballin but that’s just not why I’m here.

Best god darn sandwich I ever had! Stopped in for the first time on our way to Vermont and all I can say is WOW! A much needed addition for the town of Sparta. The location is convenient and very clean. As vegetarians the menu items are fresh, plentiful, and customizable. The owner was more than accommodating and willing to give us yummy suggestions. Look forward to the next time La Vita!

Catered from La Vita antipasti, Fennel Orange Walnut Salad and Bomboloni to supplement my menu for a girls night and all LOVED them!  La Vita will be getting some new out of town customers for sure!  Highly recommend!
