Pre COVID this used to be my favourite restaurant. I would travel 30 minutes out of my way just to eat their Friday buffet. The large wood beams and open space is always impressive. Most recently we went back for dinner. The place was totally empty! Our waiter mentioned the head chef has changed. In hindsight we now know why the place was empty. Kids no longer eat free! We were surprised as their website still mentions this. They should change this on their site. The food quality has definitely gone down. The blackened salmon was tasteless and overcooked. Prime rib portion size was too small. Kids meals were nothing special. The dessert was the best part of the meal. Unfortunately I don’t have a pic of the cake as it was devoured too quickly. We won’t be back unless they bring back the master chef that created the amazing buffet!
Me and friends visited Montreal for the first time and we decided to pick this based on the percentage recommendation match with my profile. It was lovely, the servers were very lovely. They were bilingual. Everyone's meal was great and well spiced. I have the Rosè pasta meal and a really nice drink I so r remember the name. Overall a good experience.
What a lovely discovery this restaurant was! The stunning wood structure gave a beautiful, rustic atmosphere. From the time we entered, we were greeted by a friendly hostess and our waiter, Moses was just wonderful. He really went above and beyond!! A gem of a waiter!!! Delicious cocktails and food. My shrimps were slightly undercooked and I hate returning food, but I couldn't eat undercooked seafood. The chef prepared me another plate from scratch and it was quite terrific. They also offered me a free dessert for my dissatisfaction with my plate.. we had three desserts, all so very tasty. Everything was professional and perfect. I will return again and highly recommend!!
Beautiful place to relax after a game of golf. Terrasse and gardens are very well maintained. Staff is always very courteous. Great lunch + drink menu.
Had the Linguini Diablo and prime rib. Some of the best prime rib I've ever had. Better then the bifteque back in its prime. Amazing food and service!Food: 5/5
This was a private event, we had the whole restaurant to our group, although there were only 40 of us. Service was 10/10, enough staff on hand. I had prime roast beef which was also 10/10. My partner had blackened salmon which was also very good; the fish and chips looked ok. Will definitely return!
This little Italian restaurant is hidden in the backwoods of the Vista golf club in Kahnawake. It was a pleasant surprise serving an appropriately delicious selection of food. I would strongly recommend, and would go so far as to get in your holiday party reservation..the ambiance and setting are outstanding. Beautiful restaurant and friendly staff. Absolutely loved the calamari and the prime rib. Thanks to the fantastic cooks Ps. Tell the chef to work and leave the bar.
First off, the service was excellent can't express that enough. First time going to this restaurant and last. I chose to go on Valentines, I could not be more disappointed with the food. Had a so called "giant" meatball, what a joke, tasteless lamb shank for a main... luckily the chocolate cake tasted good still some what frozen tho. My girlfriends meal was OK, minus the frozen cake she had for dessert too.
I was really impress with the interior design when I first got in. It's not what you would expect from a Golf course's club house. La Vista is definitely a Restaurant of it's own. The food was also amazing, we got the fried calamari and the antipasti platter to share. Both plates we're intelligently executed and beautifully plated. We will go back soon !
