La Verrière

We didn't have any Canadian dollars, but they were kind enough to accommodate us and accept our US dollars! Had a wonderful latte and found wifi to make our hotel reservations and had a chocolate croissant, except they called it a chocolat au pain or something! Still, very delightful staff , very kind service and a wonderful gem of a cafe in this little obscure town!

Discovered this restaurant while looking at the CAA Tour Book while enroute to Toronto. Thank you CAA, definately a 3-star restaurant. Arrived just before noon and were seated promptly. Server politely translated as only a French menu was available; she was pleasant and attentive, despite the language barrier, Creamed vegetable soup, beef bourgonion, and creme brûlée for a set price Lunch was delicious and well presented. In and out within an hour of arrival, Very clean premises. Will definately return to La Verriere if ever in the Drummondville area again.

No words to describe how disgusting their evening buffet was . The food was bland, no taste at all. The breakfast buffet wasn’t that bad, it was eatable. Overall it was a huge disappointment. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to eat here!

On m'avait assuré qu'il n'y aurait pas de problème. Plutôt que de m'amener les frites avec le steak, on m'a servi les frites comme si elles avaient été une entrée. Alors que les autres convives à la table mangeaient leur entrée, la serveuse est arrivée avec les repas principaux, nous obligeant soit à engloutir ce qu'il restait pour qu'elle puisse repartir avec les assiettes vides, soit les transférer dans les assiettes des repas principaux.
