La Vecchia Ristorante

Cozy ambience, they haven’t changed anything in the past 6-7 years except for the flooring. Friendly staff. We mostly had seafood. They were good but a little overcooked. My seafood saffron risotto’s scallops were very over cooked but the shrimps were perfect. The seafood salad’s seafood was also overcooked but they were refreshing. Mussels were perfect. Veal with lemon sauce was good but maybe the piece was too thin. Overall pleasant experience.

I have been to a few Italian restaurants both in and out of the country, and I have to say this is somewhere in my top three. Our server was Alex, and his service was amazing. Helpful on the menu. attentive, and made sure me and my wife were taken care of throughout the meal. I highly recommend the four cheese Gnocchi, though their specials for the day are equally amazing. If you have room, the desserts are pretty decadent. Plan on going again.

Came here for the second time to celebrate my friend's birthday, it turns out like 3 other people at the restaurant had the same birthday as my friend. I noticed that everyone else got little cakes with sparklers on it, but I didn't know how to order that for my friend so we just got some regular desserts. The pizzas here are really good, I think I like it more than the pastas!

I came to the Yonge and Eglinton location for my birthday and had the most incredible experience!! The brunch menu had tasty options and the service was very impeccable!! Alex greeted me! And checked on our table very frequently! We had the best seat in the restaurant and our waiter Manny was very attentive!! I will be back for all my special occasions!!

4.2/5 Great service and food. The server was attentive and the pasta was tasty! If there was one critique, it would be that their focaccia could be better as it was cold and dry. They had opened up the glass doors at the front of the restaurant so we could enjoy a patio-like feel even inside. Lovely place for a summer lunch!

The truffle pizza had no truffle on it whatsoever. Even a drop of truffle oil would have the taste of truffle. The “homemade” hot sauce was turned and flavorless zero seasoning and the lack of salt means they shouldn’t have kept it in room temp. The portions were big enough. Everything was also under seasoned and bland. We ordered a lot of food and the bill came to 169 before tax and tips. and kinda really regret going there.

The food was great, everything you expect from a quality Italian restaurant. We all enjoyed our meals. The staff were friendly. The ambiance was nice. I will be going back at some point, most likely in the summer to enjoy their patio. Kid-friendliness: I saw a few kids there early in the evening.

I went to celebrate my wedding anniversary at La Vecchia and I was expecting a good restaurant but it surpassed all our expectations! The food is divine and the staff are excellent, leaving the atmosphere of the restaurant very welcoming! The manager was present all the time, in addition to being super friendly with everyone. Special thanks to Giancarlo for the exceptional service and for the great food and drink tips. Thanks for making our anniversary even more special!

Amazing ambiance, delicious food and great location. This place has an ‘old’ charm to it with its lighting and interiors. The food is reasonably priced and our server EYRAN was super courteous and made some great recommendations. Try the Grapefruit punch cocktail/mock tail, fresh tiramisu, vegetarian pizza, the eggplant etc. Definitely do recommend.
