La Trattoria Giusta

This is a heavy pizza, between a thick and a thin crust. 4 slices and your good for the day kind of heavy. Well cooked, crust is nice and light. Sauce has a good tang, cheese also has a great flavor. No flop, with a good under carriage but there is a lot of lava action in the middle. For some reason the pepperoni is under the cheese so every bite you get some un cooked raw pepperoni, I'm not a fan of that. Very greasy pizza, you got to sponge away that grease with a napkin before eating. All in all the pizza is ok but for 30$ for a 14inch pie ill pass. I give this pizza a 6.1 that's a review

I was visiting the Montreal/Laval area from Seattle and was looking for a good Italian eatery, specifically for a calzone. This place exceeded my expectations. Very delicious and the sauce was excellent in quality. If I am in the area again, I will be heading back here for more.

We tried Trattoria Giusta for the first time and we were very impressed. The person who took the order over the phone was very polite and efficient. She told me it would take forty five minutes to one hour to arrive, and the polite driver showed up in 30 minutes. We ordered "The Gioventu" #11 which consisted of tomato sauce, mushrooms, pepperoni, mozzarella, onions and bacon. The crust was perfectly cooked and the pizza was not salty. Neither was the pizza or box soggy. we also ordered three cannoli, which were decadent! Creamy and smooth, with the shell being light and crispy. Very fresh. For the drinks, we had Brio. Delicious meal and worth the price. Take note they are closed Sunday and Monday.

The calzones with the tomato sauce are incredible. Everything else is also quite good, but I get Calzone cravings every now and then. The owners are also extremely friendly!Food: 5/5

Good: - Pizza isn't baked in a pan like most Quebec style pizzas, which gives it a great under carriage for being a Quebec pizza can actually pick it up instead of insta flopping - 100% if getting pepperoni, ask for it on top or else it will be under and floopy - Sauce has a nice tang - The pizza isn't too thick nor too thin, a nice medium Cons: - Expensive, but worth a try - Lots of lava grease on the top, recommend dabbing it with a napkin before hand. Overall, on a Quebec pizza scale, this is on the higher end of the spectrum. Ill give this a 8.1

Ordered from this location for a family gathering of 10-12 people. Thought we ‘d try their food since we lived close by. Food was good but nothing amazing. Not like what what every one says it is. Not to mention it is priced slightly more that other trattorias. Also received less than a friendly service when ordering..someone there doesn’t want to be in the food service anymore. Decided to go back with Luigi’s out in the east end ..way tastier and cheaper plus they treat you like family.

Ordered for the first time while at my in laws tonight. So good Pizza was outstanding.

I've been wanting to try Trattoria Giusta for a long time, and I'm sure glad I finally did!! Good service and the food is incredible!!! Had the mixed focaccia sandwiches, white and tomato pizza, and their specialty rapini/sausage crown is out of this world!! Hard to find homestyle food this good at a commercial level. Thank you very much, Adriana and Co., your food is amazing!

What a little gem, really delicious home made food the calzones are huge! Everything is amazing.

Just tried it the first time last Saturday.I ordered lasagna and Italian sausage in tomato sauce, they were very delicious. Will definitely go back!
