La Sala Rosa

Nice concert venue with great decoration and high ceiling . We saw two bands playing and even if the sound could have been better we had a very good time.

Haven't been to the restaurant portion, but La Sala Rossa as a venue was amazing! Felt very safe at the show I went to and the bartender had great service :' Great venue spot !

As a venue for live music, this place is very good. Would prefer more room in coat check however, as it tends to fill up quickly. As a restaurant, the menu is interesting and tasty, however I find it somewhat pricey. The atmosphere is very comfortable and friendly however.

A fantastic concert venue with great sound. Hear wonderful music ranging from the legends of free jazz to the cutting edge music emerging today. Drink prices are more than reasonable, and if you're hungry there's an excellent Spanish restaurant on the first floor. A genuine Montreal gem.

Great sound and super friendly staff, amazing local venue

Went only to the 3rd floor, which is the disco dance floor section. Nice cozy rustic room with old wood! Barmaid could be more pleasant and happier... just start by a smile.... ; Choice of beers are perfect, but not a lot.

I went to see Braids concert and the SOUND was really well. Not crazy high. Once someone told me it's really good quality when it feels loud but you still can talk and listen the other person. I'm not the engineer but I really like how it sounds. I don't know if it's the venue, the sound engineer but if you are going for a concert the sound is great.

I recently saw The Sadies and Daniel Moreno end of January. Great concert hal,l nice ambiance and sound. However I was disappointed with the bar service at the concert. One of the bartenders was not friendly , did not . smile or was particularly warm. I left him a tip which I regret and because of his attitude I did not go back fro another drink.

NOTE: About the resto downtstairs, not the excellent venue upstairs! Unfortunately not possible to provide less than one star, or else I would. I organized a large group event in this space and have never been treated so horribly or disrespectfully as I have here. Truly sad to see a once solid MTL institution fall so far. The service was downright rude, and the food was simply not enough for our group - when in previous years, we have organized the same event at the same restaurant, under different management, with great results and certainly enough food for what we paid. We ended up losing our partnership on this event thanks to this horrible experience. Never again.

Small and cozy restaurant. The waiter who attended us was very kind even though he had a lot work to do since we went on a show night. The live flamenco show was ok, nothing really special or outstanding, but it did make the dinner more enjoyable and memorable indeed. The goat cheese was the best tapa from all of the 5-6 we ordered. The octopus wasn't good, a shame. They only had few dessert choices, but the one my friends had seemed good and they enjoyed it a lot.
