Absolutely delicious food in a charming old house. From the mushroom toast to the breaded halibut, lobster pot pie, carrot cake and s'mores cake, everything was beautifully prepared and presented. One of the best meals on PEI. Highly recommend!
The food was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked. I took the scallops and they were amazing! The service was attentive and we were lucky our server was bilingual. Please note that for small children the waiting time was a little long, but our kids may have been a little more impatient as we were seated right next to the kitchen and the smells coming out were mouth watering!
La Rose Bistro was a great choice for lunch on a hot, sunny day in beautiful Cavendish. We enjoyed eating on the patio, but the indoor seating looked cozy too. Our server was excellent and the lobster pot pie pictured here was a showstopper!
Don't let the theme-park-looking setting fool you. The food pairing, preparation, and presentation is exquisite. The scallops were as good as anything I've had in the US or Europe. It's worth driving to.
Wow! What can I say about this place! We just had the most delicious meal here today at La Rose Bistro.nnThe atmosphere is perfect and we had the friendliest server, Colby was her name. The food was amazing! My husband had the Mussels to start with and he said they were so tasty! I couldn’t believe the serving size of them! I had the Chicken Alfredo and it was the best Chicken Alfredo I have ever had! It was so rich and creamy. The portion was quite large and I had to take some of it home. My husband had the Scallop Alfredo and he said it was amazing! I counted at least 7 HUGE scallops in his dish.nnThis restaurant is a perfect gem of a spot! I highly recommend eating here. It was one of the best meals if not the best meal I have ever had! We will definitely be back!
