Very comfortable and spacious unit with amazing view. We love the Charlevoix region and this is the best touristic accommodation we had in this region with a great value for the price it charged compare to other options. Highly recommend! We really enjoyed the stay.
My wife, 2 children aged 10 and 7, and I just spent 4 nights in one of the condo units of Le Pignoronde March 10-14. The building is very well maintained. Our condo unit was on the top floor and had two floors with vaulted ceilings in the kitchen, dining room and living room. The unit was crisp, clean, and well appointed. The views of the St Lawrence and the town of Le Baie Saint Paul were beautiful. The building amenities included a small indoor pool that our kids enjoyed, and a gym which we didn’t use because we were skiing daily. The gym has cardio equipment but no weights. The gym space itself is inviting. Distance to Le Massif was 10min driving. The beddings and towels were hotel quality. The kitchen was beautiful and enticed us to stay in the unit for dinners. We went to the IGA, 5 min away and stocked up. We would certainly return to the Pignoronde for our next visit to this area. Our experience with the team at BNB Copilote has been very positive and we would use them for Quebec City options as well.
They’re still in the middle of building so they’ve got the roads to fix and some doors to re-do they didn’t work a lot of times. But the view is beyond amazing and the penthouse that we had was very comfortable. The only other flaw - I wish there was more activities within reach and more restaurants nearby as the resort is a little secluded. The pool was nice and the staff was friendly. I also wish the condos had curtains because in the summer, the house could get hot and sunny really fast.
We had a 5 night stay and loved the accomodation. The condo was extremely spacious and had all we needed. The views are spectacular over the river the bay and the town. This is a great base from which to explore Charlevoix. Don't forget to getup to see the sunrise.Rooms: 5/5
We recently skied at Le Massif for 4 days and stayed at this place #306. We have done three ski trips at Le Massif. This is the best accommodation—-Spacious and clean! Every morning we enjoyed our breakfast and beautiful Scenery! Three of our kids loved their own bedrooms and washrooms. Thank you for the welcome cookies and jam! We will be back next year for sure.
Spent 4 nights in July 2022. Amazing views, clean condo 2 beds, 2 baths, fully furnished kitchen, bathrooms has plenty of towels. Ample seating options and the co-owner of the condo was very helpful when a small leak happened. It's a great place to stay while accessing the Charlevoix area. The only downside is the unpaved parking and the access from the main road which can be difficult maybe dangerous. Access from the main road is not easy to spot and we had to drive by it a few times to see it it's a banner-like sign but there are no other signs prior to the entrance . We will be coming back to the Pignoronde!
We recently visited this place and stayed in the 2 story unit 408. The establishment is brand new, very clean and quiet. the exterior landscaping is not yet complete but he view is truly breathtaking. The staff is very friendly and caring and when we asked for a crib and they didn't have it , they actually went around to buy one for us! Unfortunately they didn't find one but still, the effort was really appreciated. The BBQ is also missing at this time. Bedding is very clean and comfortable. Kitchen ware is ok but could be better. Overall, a great experience.
The unit 109 was large and comfortable. First impressions were that it was a beautiful condo. Once we started using things we realized it was all put together very quickly and maybe not the best quality. Being here in August we had a few very warm days, and the circulation in the unit isn't great. We bought a fan for the hallway and left all the bedroom doors open at night... Otherwise the bedrooms got unbearably hot and stuffy. Also no can opener. Also, no cable, but we brought our own Roku. Tip to other Americans... Many of our apps didn't work. Nothing on Hulu or prime worked. Luckily most Netflix shows worked. Couldn't get American sports on anything... Even on our phones. Might look into getting a VPN. I didn't bring any board games because of all the comments about games in the unit. We didn't think they'd all be in French As Americans we didn't realize how French this area was. We thought it was more bilingual. In smaller towns like baie-st-Paul there were many people who didn't speak much English at all and the signs are no longer bi-lingual, like in Montreal. Google translate came in very handy. It was a great experience though, and it is a beautiful area. The views from the porch were breathtaking. Even more so from the community balcony. There were rainbows on several days. The pool is extremely small ~10' x 12' and very very chlorinated. The workout room has one rowing machine, 2 bikes, 2 stair climbers, and two 3lb weights. One final note... The top bunks in the bunkroom are extremely unsafe. The mattress is the same thickness as the safety guard, so it would be easy to roll right off during the night see photo. So if you plan to use them, plan to bring extra tall bunk rails. No services and no staff on site, but the unit was pretty well equipped.
We stayed 5 days in #205, and the place was just as pictured and described. Super clean, amazing views, and very bright with the large windows. The kitchen is well stocked, even has a Nespresso machine. Great communication. Our WI-FI went down, and they had someone over within 5 minutes to address it. I would highly recommend.Rooms: 5/5
We stayed at #109. It was a pleasant stay and I really appreciate the fast response of the host whenever we have questions. The place was beautiful with a great view of the baie. I do not have any complains or anything because we enjoyed everything especially we are a family with a baby. There was a crib that was prepared already in the masters bedroom which is really convenient. Everything was spacious and we all loved it.There are also toys for kids. Thank you very much and we will surely come back again.
