La michoacana never fails me! This location is great too. The kind lady behind the counter was super helpful and professional. All the ice creams were good and the kids loved it. I myself got the "salchipulpos" which are fries with hot dogs topped with mustard, ketchup, nacho cheese and Valentina hot sauce. The wife got the "chicharron con cueritos" and said it was ready good as well. My favorite was the "GANZITO" ice cream. I will be coming back for more. Highly recommend you visit here.
Updated Review Love this location. It has a lot more that others don't have. Very clean, friendly customer service. Today I try the tacos dorados. They looked very good! They are well prepared, with lettuce, fresh cheese, green sauce, advocate, red tomatoe & sour cream. But didn't taste as good. They weren't bad, they just weren't great. They are $8 for an order of 4 tacos dorados. That's super expensive for me. I do gotta say that they have got drinks now!!! They have hot chocolate abuelita & café de olla. The hot chocolate was amazing !!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Love this location! Big enough, bathrooms, clean, outside sitting. They sell cheesecake slices, not every location does that!!!
Good elotes but extremely slow service. I appreciate that the employee apologizing but I’m not waiting 10 mins in line and then another 20 mins for an elote ever again. I’m giving it 2/5 because the elote was alright. But whoever is the manager here needs to pay their employees more so they’re actually motivated to work. And hire more while they’re at it.
Food and Service was excellent so we'll definitely be back. We had the elote, mangonadas, chicharron preparado and cheese cake pop.
I will forever come to this one. I never write reviews but I had to today. Friendly staff, and I feel like they always make the food well. I accidentally lost my phone and was panicking because I was running errands. I called them and they had it. They were so kind to keep it safe. I tipped them $20 for that. Good karma goes a long way. Thank you so much
This ice cream shop is fantastic. There are so many wonderful varieties of ice cream and yogurts with the edition of tortas, popsicles and other snacks. I love the pecan yogurt. Its usually pretty crowded and the parking lot is small so go early on Sundays and have a few samples.
Non of the ice cream is labeled and how could you have one worker. You could at least have two, you guys put way too much stress on her
Really disappointed, I am a regular customer at this location, I visited every other week for a plain yogurt with just almond and granola, I visited any day in week but sometime their team said they have deal on Thursday for plain yogurt it’s $4.99, even all girls they know me by my drink but today I visited at store and their is 2 guys and one lady, I got 1 plain yogurt and I told the guy about Thursday deal, they said because of you just got plain yogurt without fruits so we don’t give you the deal, I told them all other your crew convinced me to come on Thursday we have deal and today I went there and I don’t got deal Sometime their employee doesn’t know what’s a charge for plain yogurt, I know I paid one $14 something for medium plain yogurt, Really disappointed
I love Michocana ice cream, I frequent the ones in the Pilsen area. I think this one is a priced higher, but it's in a good location, and it's pretty large. Magnonadas are so good, and of course the hot cheetos and cheese sauce are a staple for a city girl.
The selection is a bit overwhelming at first but once you narrow it down your going to be happy. The best part was the elotes, it was just as authentic as the cart guy’s! I had a cookies&cream scoop and my wife had the yogurt smoothie. +for Oaklawn
