This review is just the restaurant, I cannot speak to the quality of the grocery store.nnI've ordered from their restaurant twice. The lamb was over cooked and tough. Many of the pieces provided were comprised of bone and nothing else. The jallof rice was old and hard I could not finish it. I had previously ordered the chicken and despite it being well seasoned, it was very dry. Likewise, the rice was very hard at that time as well. The plantains were probably the best part of both meals... Honestly, super disappointing and I don't think I will be ordering from them again... especially with other options being readily available in the area.

Bomb food ....tried the half chicken with rice with and plantain plate and it was delicious
Love their unique char grilled African style spiced chicken! Order it with the red spiced rice not spicy but deliciously spiced, and their plantain. Order a combo plate or a whole chicken with sides. Reasonably priced and your house guests will flip over it. If tou like onions don’t forget to ask for a side of their pickled onions. They are in this brown tamarind style vinegar and complement the chicken well. Also you must try their ginger drink. It’s powerful stuff mixed with lemon, mint and pineapple juice. Strong fresh ginger flavours bursting out - Fantastic! You can eat the food right there at one of the tables in store or take it home. It’s a small business that makes everything from scratch so don’t expect a lightning-fast food service like you might get for Swiss Chalet. Their char-grilled chicken, red Jollof rice, and home fries and sweet plantain are far superior and worth the wait. So please give them the time they need to make a quality meal. Also there is a new African groceries store attached to it which is really impressive with its selection of imported foods. They have lots of frozen meats and fish as well as imported spices and treats. Clean store, wide aisles.
The restaurant offers an amazing experience for the food. The meals always come out piping hot and they never disappoint with the flavors. The Jollof rice and the plantain are incredible and there is a large variety of options to chose from, but the chicken is an unbeatable classic. If you like food, you must try this local gem at least once in your life.
