I'm loving LA!! Not only are the staff so nice - thankyou Samir for making every visit a great experience - but the service here is top tier and the facility is always spotless. You can tell the team takes pride in keeping everything clean and organized. I also just signed up for reformer pilates which im very excited about!! I've heard its super effective especially with getting abs, and its so much cheaper doing it here than a regular pilates studio.
I had a great experience at Aurora LA Fitness. Compared to other locations I have visited, this one really stood out. The facility was exceptionally clean, well maintained, and had a very welcoming atmosphere.nnThe staff were professional, friendly, and always willing to help, which made the overall experience even better. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the LA Fitness Aurora – Bayview location, and I will not be returning.nnI requested to freeze my membership about one to two months ago, which was approved. After approximately one to one and a half months, I contacted the club to unfreeze and reactivate my account. Instead of reactivating it, my membership was accidentally fully deactivated by the club.nnI later received a voicemail asking me to provide my credit card information again to reactivate my account and was asked to come in to discuss the issue. When I did, I was told that my monthly fee would increase in order to reactivate my membership. This was shocking and unacceptable, especially since I have not even completed one year of membership and the issue was caused by their own administrative error.nnI chose this gym mainly because it was more affordable for me. I was previously a GoodLife Fitness member, and although it was more expensive, I never experienced this level of difficulty. At GoodLife, I was able to freeze or cancel my membership over the phone without issues, and staff were always cooperative and respectful.nnIn today’s highly competitive fitness industry, customer satisfaction is the key factor in building loyalty. Unfortunately, this location showed no concern for retaining an existing customer.nnI feel completely disappointed and disrespected, and this experience has permanently changed my trust in this brand.
Usable facility - very friendly and cool weekday cleaner. Equipment generally in good condition, easily accessible in the morning.nnBiggest challenge is in the afternoon/evening cluster where it is very common for younger men who take photos of themselves in the change room using mirrors that reflect directly back on where everyone changes. Its wildly uncomfortable, and not great to know you're caught in a photo in the middle of changing.nnThis is a daily occurrence.nnStaff has been notified, but has always been a consistent problem, and the issue remains just as bad as ever. A reevaluation and action is needed to protect guests right to privacy.nnMost recently, vaping has become more common now in the change room without any sort of crackdown.nnIt is not our job as paying customers to manage the law and internal rules.nnI avoid going in the afternoon/evenings as much I can, but will simply call the police for voyeurism moving forward on anyone photographing me in a compromised state in the change room.nnThe app is not user friendly for reporting issues though, they do send out the odd questionnaire only asking if we were greeted by staff as we signed in....nnI hope you consider this criticism as helpful in order to improve the facility to within reasonable guest expectations.
Great staff. Very friendly. Very friendlynmembers too. It's a comfortable place to exercise and it's always clean. The custodians are always working hard. Good price too compared to some other gyms. Been going there for 3 to 4 years now.
