Amazing restaurant! I waited a few months before trying this place out. Let me just say, I’ve now found my new local restaurant to go with my better half on our date nights. From our arrival to our departure the service was perfect with our waitress/partial owner Denise. I’m a beer enthusiast and in this restaurant it is all locally sourced and the beers are some of the better ones that I’ve already enjoyed in the past. Also being a foodie the food was very well prepared and portions were very adequate. I enjoyed the ribs which were meatier than usual in which I greatly enjoyed.
We arrived on a Saturday evening without reservations and they were apprehensive to seat us because they were fully booked. Their concern was a lack of their high quality service. We waited and they seated us. Well, the service was excellent! Annie was a lovely waitress who did her best with English as we struggled with our terrible French. The food was outstanding. We ordered Le Gourmand for 2 people and it was more than generous. The meats were all smoked to perfection and each side was as carefully and tastefully prepared as the meat. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Didn’t expect the food is so good before walking in! We picked this restaurant on the way home from cherry picking and wanted just a quick bite. With the simple lunch menu I thought it was like 3-amigo level of food no offence I like 3-amigo too lol but holy molly the food is GOOD! My boyfriend kept talking about his burger for 2 days The presentation is delicate too! The waitress and the chef ? are super nice and friendly : Will definitely come back!
Fold was delicious. The boyfriend and I couldn't decide so we split two plates. One came before the other so we chowed down. The waitress came by and asked if my mojito was up to par as I set it aside as to not spill it. I replied yes but she seemed offended. Second plate came and we picked off it as there was sooo much food. Another person came by and was super snippity with us rudly asking us if we liked it. We really did but there was so much food. They were very clearly annoyed with us. Good delicious, service could use some freshening up.
The food and the prices are very good. The staff is nice and asks if we have questions about the menu and ask if we are satisfied. We were a couple of friends who went last night and at some point we had about 5 different staff bringing our food and they would not communicate between themselves. 1 would say yes i'm coming with your drink i forgot and we would get it about 10 minutes later from a different waitress. It was busy outside but hardly anyone inside. So i don't understand 5 different waiters. It makes it confusing and not very accurate. I find too many people handling our orders and bills. Other then that everything else is very good.
Arrived for a group reservation…not in the book despite being confirmed on the phone. Response: “well, it must have been an employee, I would have taken a note". Not sorry, no offer of assistance or compensation. So, 13 people some of whom from Montreal turned on our tails and went elsewhere. Great customer service, NOT,
We were a group of four at this establishment last night for our first time! The decor was so elegant and clean. The staff was so friendly and kind. The cocktails were delicious and the food was amazing followed by awesome desserts! We will definitely be back! I rate this place on a scale 1 to 10.......I give it a huge 10!! D.corey
The food is fabulous! Best Tex and Mex place I've ever been too in Canada. Definitely go with friends and try out the platters to share. They have a good selection of beers, and make yummy drinks. Eat inside, sit on the terrace, picnic out, or take it home. It's always great!
We waited 1 hr before they came to tell us that they forgot out order, 5 different waitress passed us. The brisket was more then half fat . I'm sorry but so over rated.
Terrible service rude waitress and 30 min to recive water and others who arrived after got served first. Never got to even give the order after half and hour left. Hope they will get better staff.
