La Camarine (Hôtel)

Nice location with great views of the river. Rooms are a good size, although a little dated they are clean. Our shower faucet was broken and so the shower was extremely "invigorating". Parking is on gravel which is okay for cars but not as ideal for motorcycles. The restaurant is fantastic and we had a great breakfast. Overall, a nice place.

Stayed for one night in the summer. Rooms were dated but clean. Most rooms appeared to have access to a balcony or patio door. The attached restaurant offered good breakfast for a reasonable price. Good place for a quick one or two nights.

Website much better than hotel. The facility was tired, worn, service below average, especially for such a small place. Reading lamp in room did not work - I had to fix, AC did not work, I had to solve, mattress on platform, not box spring and needed replacing years ago, carpets worn. Nothing wrong with place but website oversells and people under deliver

A.c. was broke. Smelled like mildew in the room. Staff was friendly. Has a restaurant on site which was convenient.

I'm not sure where it gets 4 stars... we've traveled all over the world and I must say that we have never stayed at a place like this. Mold in the fridge and bathroom, No WiFi, screen patio door almost fell off the second story balcony, half of the lights weren't working and it seemed like a tap dancing class was practicing above. Pictures are not what the rooms actually look like. Very disappointed
