La Cage - Brasserie sportive

I ordered take out from here. It says they take 25-30 min, but it was ready before then. My salad was amazing! Very light and refreshing. I also love that the take out orders comes with a little popcorn!

Very chill and classy atmosphere. Massive screen for the hockey game, which was wicked. Our server served us in both French and English. Very nice lady.nThe food was okay. I had the bison sliders. The meat was good, just not sure why there was ketchup in the burgers.nThe poutine was okay - fries tasted weird.

The Good... Great receptionist and server. Great service. Popcorn was amazing. Really liked the rubis red draft beer. Fried Onion was the second best part of the meal after popcorn.nNow the bad... Blitz Burger dry, over cooked, bland. Do not get the burgers.nChicken strips no flavour, but cooked well. The fries have a weird colour to them, red like sweet potatoes. They arrived cold with the Blitz Burger.nThe Ugly... The person taking your plates away notices the burgers left behind and doesn't ask why.nnIt's still la Cage, but fails with trying to do pub style food. Oh well.

Very nice located near our hotel. We enjoyed great service and good food for fair price.
