Can't go wrong with La Cabana Hubertus on a #TacoTuesday! I was really pleased with the service our waitress Maria was super attentive and kept up with making sure we had everything we needed from the moment we sat down until we left. You all made so many recommendations that it was impossible to try them all tonight but we did our best to sample many! I guess we will need to go back to get the rest that we missed. If I had to choose my favorites tonight I would say the Mahi Mahi Tacos and Steak Chile Relleno were it but I thought it all was pretty tasty! The flavors were all really good everything was seasoned well and everything was served hot and fresh. I see why you guys love this place. Not a single complaint from our group of 9. Here is a list of what we had tonight. Mahi Mahi Tacos, Steak Chile Relleno, Drowned Tacos, Tacos De Pastor, Beef Tacos, Chicken Tacos, Enchilada and Guacamole! There was a lot of good food. We will come back again in the future to try more off their menu.
Food is home made you can really tell. Servers are very nice only thing I didn't like is most Mexican Restaurant gives chips and salsa before a meal. We both ordered dinner options and didn't get any.
Service was quick and professional. The margaritas were really good - highly recommended. Chimichangas had plenty of cheese with the meat. Enjoyed the mole on the enchiladas.
Visited this establishment on October 26 with a friend as we would always go every Wednesday and sometimes twice a week. When we got there the bartender told us the Miller lite was out and it would be a few minutes. 5 minutes went by and I asked her what was going on. Then 10 minutes went by, I told a guy that was just standing around talking to fellow employees that the Miller lite was out. He said that they were taking care of it. 20 Minutes go by and I offer to help that employee to train and show him how to tap a keg. He assures me that they are “taking care of it.” After 40 minutes go by and our food arrived I asked who the manager was and that I want to talk to the owner. He showed me the female manager and I told her that we were waiting over 40 minutes for a beverage. She talked to the bartender and got her to finally tap it. Only a 50 minute wait to get a beer. I told the “manager” that you do not punish your customers because the bartender did not know how to tap a keg. She ignored me and did not respond. I will never go back and be sure to tell others of this terrible customer service. The guy that was standing around later told us the bartender did not know how to tap a keg. I told him that you all need to work as a team and help each other out, that they were acting very unprofessional. I contacted Tony the manager about the situation the next day, after the conversation it was clear that he did not know how to handle such a matter.
Tacos were good. But everywhere lists 1.75 tacos as daily special on Tues. Went in for lunch and ordered based on daily special posted everywhere and nothing was said until bill came that it doesn't start until 2. Should update website and Facebook info. Doubt I'll go back to this one
Excellent authentic Mexican cuisine. Many varieties of the food on the menu, and rich flavors in all the dishes that I have tried. The shredded beef is juicy and savory, as well as the chicken. One of my favorite dishes is the simple combination, that gives you a chance to sample three menu items. Be careful of the La Mexicana dish’s sauce, it says spicy and definitely means it! But it was so good, I powered thru it and finished with a glass of milk. The drinks are also wonderful, and only add greatness to the meal. All of staff are very friendly and very welcoming. It’s always a great time, and definitely worth a visit to sit and eat. Family friendly & nice side bar for solo visits.
Amazing!! I had the strawberry margarita and Tom had the jumbo regular marg...excellent! He had a burrito and I had a taco salad. They provided chips and salsa prior to the meal. The bartender and kitchen staff were so friendly! We were at the Richfield restaurant and found another La Cabana in West Bend...It's a new favorite for us! We'll be back!!!
We go for breakfast every Saturday. Food is good you get a lot for your money. Service is great. Friendly atmosphere.Food: 4/5
Very cozy and welcoming place. Excellent bartender with amazing margaritas. Camarones a diabla has plenty of bite with flavor. My friend raved about his chicken enchiladas mole that looked excellent.Food: 5/5
