Good food especially for such a small town. We were only two of four customers in the restaurant and it took us 45 minutes to get our food because they misplaced our ticket. Food was a great portion after hiking all day. Came with rice, beans, and chips and salsa while waiting.
We’re visiting from out of town. Definitely better than we expected as it is in a small town in Wyoming! Took around 40 minutes to get our food, but the waitress was apologetic about the wait. Overall it was a good experience.
I wanted to give 0 stars because I didn't even taste the food but it was not an option! We entered at noon and the woman wanted to seat 3 of us at a table for 2 just inside the entrance area that looked like a closed in porch. We asked if we could sit in the main restaurant that looked cozy as the three of us were the only people in the restaurant. She pointed out that there were tables for 4,6,10 etc. but none for 3. We looked around at the empty restaurant and asked if she was expecting a lot of people and she agreed to seat us at a table for 4. She then changed the channel on the TV above our table to Mexican music which was fine but then she cranked the volume up so loud that we couldn't hear each other talk and it was a TV sound, not like a sound system that's easy on the ears. I looked up at the TV and there was a sign that said, " Don't ask us to change the channel, turn down the volume or turn off the TV!" I then said " Sooo I guess you can't turn that down?" I mean we were the only ones in there! She gave me a definite NO and my friend said, "Strike 3, we're out!" I guess they are doing well enough with an empty restaurant that they didn't need our business... BIZARRE!!!
Massive margaritas hit the spot. Street tacos were large and delicious. The barbacoa was tender and the ceviche portion was generous. Stuffed!
I have been coming here for more than 7 years and have lived locally for 5 of these years. The food is pretty dang good, but the service has always terrible both in-person and with takeout! I frequently order takeout on my way home from Jackson 1-2 times a week and my order has been wrong on most occasions. I even tip 20% on my to-go orders. I’ve dealt with two different waitresses and one waiter over the time I’ve been coming to eat here. The male service person is wonderful, but the two female waitresses act like my order and service is a burden. This time, after my take-out order was wrong yet again, there was a complete lack of empathy and understanding by the two waitresses at the window. My typical order is 3 fish tacos, 2 steak tacos, and a veggie quesadilla. I was handed an order with the wrong kind of tacos and wrong number. Instead of graciously fixing my order, they proceeded to take back my take out box, take out 2 of the incorrect tacos, and refuse to give me the 3 correct tacos after they’ve already had over 45 minutes to prepare my order. The interaction ended in an argument and them closing the window in my face several times refusing to correct my order. Needless to say, they have lost my service from now on. Go to the Taco Bus instead!!
Authentic food, the street tacos are huge and the meat has amazing flavor. We got the campechanos and carne asada tacos and ended up taking 2 home. The Chile Relleno was to die for. I ordered 2 thinking they would be normal size. Needless to say I will be having one for breakfast. Give this place a try!
The food was amazing and yummy. The employee was supper friendly and amazing. I definitely recommend the drive
Best burrito I've had in a long timeFood: 5/5
We are visiting the area and the restaurant we’d planned to go to was unexpectedly closed, so we scrambled for another option in this small town. We had no expectations walking in, but the food was delicious. The restaurant was completely full and the wait for our food was a little long, however, the dishes were all fresh and clearly house made. It was some of the best Mexican I’ve had outside of Mexico. Delicious!
Delicious authentic food, very fast service. I was very impressed with this restaurant.
