Awesome restaurant, interesting menu, great service and value for your money. Cool ambiance. Good drinks and dessert. Bone marrow with snails are an interesting choice. Foie gras was great. Deer steak and cheeseburger are really good. We had fun, one of the best local restaurants. It has a butcher shop next door, but it was closed. I really recommend it if you are in the area.
Excellent French food with great service and ambiance. This place is relaxed as it can be, not pretentious and food is amazing. While having a dinner there, we made another reservation right away to visit it again since we only stayed in the area for a few day but unfortunately couldn't make it back. We were very disappointed. There are not that many restaurants that deliver both: exceptional food and service. Will be back for sure!
Amazing food and presentation. All you can ask for a night out. The sea food wowed us. Excellent spot for our anniversary. The server was amazing! Excellent selection of wines!!!Food: 5/5
Great experience at Mercenaires Culinaires! We were a couple with a 13 year old. The wait staff was very friendly and kind with great wine pairing suggestions. The atmosphere was very pleasant for us because we enjoy being able to hold a conversation without having to shout. This is 2 days before Christmas so it was slightly festive but not overly so. The food was delicious!!! We all LOVED what we ordered! From the Foie Gras to the salad, steaks, deer and deserts, everything was made to perfection. Parking: All around and in front.
It is always a pleasure to dine there. Food is amazing and so is the service. Steak was done exactly how we wanted.Food: 5/5
I never post reviews, but felt compelled to share this one. My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary and it was the best dining experience we've ever had, if you account for food, service, and value. We had a lobster risotto and beef tartare on bone marrow. The servings were extremely generous - way more lobster than we expected. They were both extremely well made and delicious. Coming from Toronto, the prices were easily half as much as they'd be in the city. The cocktails and wine were also very good. We love food and dining out and can be harsh critics of restaurants. This was a gem!
The service here was excellent and so was the food. A fantastic wine list as well. I am visiting from south Ontario and will deffinetly be back the next time I am here. I highly recommend this place. Don't let the exterior fool you. This place is first class.Food: 5/5
We loved our dining experience. This brasserie serves amazing meats and great beers on tap. Great, friendly servers. Nice ambience.Food: 5/5
I ordered the Beef tartare as an appetizer and a main, I was disappointed that the beef was cut in such large chunks compared to my other tartare experiences in Quebec. The flavour was nice but it was very hard to get past chewing that size of raw meat. Sadly there was only 3 little pieces of extremely crunchy bread each for both the appetizer and the main tartare which left a lot to eat in the main without bread. The bone marrow was good and Caesar salad was very decadent in flavour, the anchovies complement it well!
Great restaurant! I booked this on a recent trip to Tremblant. I wanted something local and I found this restaurant. The cocktail were excellent and wine choices were abundant. We had the steak frites which was excellent. Cooked to perfection! Had the Pouding Chômer which was a wonderful surprise. Highly recommend this little spot if you want to eat outside the ski village of Tremblant.
