L'Improviste

I went there for brunch. I can't complain about anything, food was decent - simple omelet with fried potatoes and toasted bread, good amount, overall pleasant experience. Good location in downtown Quebec. However opening hours were unclear.

The service was very friendly! I ordered cheese sticks, a side salad and a pizza Margherita. The presentation was really nice! The salad and the sticks were very tasty! The pizza was ok more or less with some improvements to be done for the future. I would choose this restaurant again!

Good food, great service and Very Welcoming. We found this place while walking through Quebec City. We ate breakfast there twice because of the food and the Server she was very attentive, funny and made us feel very welcomed. We wanted to eat dinner there but we where on our last few days of our trip. merci beacoup

it was a little far from crowded place. it is down scale place but some seats are good for seeing outside. pizza and burger are not bad and atomosphere was also good. there were lots of travlers and good place to take a rest. credit card is available. 2nd floor is also available for group.

Great little place just off the main strip on a side street. A variety of dishes on the menu. Italian, seafood, burgers and more. Quiet. Friendly, attentive staff. Food was really very good and reasonably priced for the area. We are from NY and eat Italian regularly. Pizza was better than most NY pizza. Bolanaise was as good as it gets, chocolate cake was perfect. Will eat there again before I leave here to make up for a not so good pricey meal elsewhere today. Highly recommend!

Excellent food and great ambiance! I had a business dinner, all plate’s seafood, Italian and steak are wonderful! BRAVO!!!

Excellent service and food at reasonable prices. The background music is of appropriate volume for conversations. A good first try for newcomers to Old Quebec.

The open window by the street so cool. Everybody stares you enjoying the meal.
