While the food was top quality , the service was a little slow and our server seemed unenthusiastic.It took approximately 20 minutes to receive our desserts(pot de crème) which are prepared in advance.At a certain point we began hearing someone singing in another part of the restaurant,which at first was amusing,but soom became a little annoying as the volume rose.When we left,as we attempted to get our coats,the access to them was blocked by individuals (employees?customers?) who were arguing about the music choice, most notably one young lady who seemed quite drunk and oblivious to the fact that we were trying to get through to our coats.A little disappointing as this establishment came highly touted. Not sure I would return.

Very good service and excellent food. The restaurant is rather small. The menu is limited but as any other good restaurant. Steak Diane is 5/5! Only comment on the meat is the doneness, which is rarely as you ask for anyways. Mozzarella is a bit bland in itself but the garnish brings it up. Limited selection of wine by the glass.

Coming from Montreal, i am utterly impressed with the quality of the food we can find in Granby! Especially L'Impérial, i have visited this restauuseveral times already and it never fails to wow my taste buds! The blood pudding is absolutely stunning! The spices are splendid and beats most of the blood pudding i have tried in Mtl. The texture is crispy on the outside with a creamy inside. And may i mention that the portions are enormous! I also love that they are making people discover products that are not as well known such as beef trips and making it so delicious to remove all preconceived judgement on the ingredient. Bravo!
